Description

Spindrift is a great family house, it's ideal for children of all ages, including teenagers. It has plenty of space for teens to hang out, cinema room, games room, they don't even have to see you if they don't want to. We are 3 seconds from the beach, approximately 15 strides away. Sea views from the bedrooms, can't go wrong, front and back garden, outside shower for those post surfing moments. A barbecue for all days rain or shine, outside tables and chairs. It's a perfect multi family holiday house.

There is a games room which includes a table tennis table, football table and a dart board (You will need to bring your own darts) and surf boards. Outside there is a netball/basketball hoop, and football goals.

The house has a cinema room with full use of Netflix films and programs.

We are within 5 minutes walking distance from East Wittering, which has delicious cafes, one being Drift Inn (amazing breakfasts and lunches for all the family) and the sister delicious Drifters (again amazing lunches and dinners, with or without family) plus other great restaurants. Close by to the there is a lovely traditional fish shed which sells freshly caught fish for a bargain price.

For getting around the public transport is great. There is a train to Chichester, which leaves from Victoria, takes 1.5 hours. You can then take a bus from outside the station, bus numbers 52 and 53 which will take you to the bottom of Joliffe Road. We live at the beach end of Joliffe road, first house on your right.

We are close by to places that provide numerous activities such as sailing, kite surfing, windsurfing, surfing, paddle boarding etc. (will provide more info upon rental)

The house is close to numerous numerous pubs, cycle paths, and lovely walks.

Getting around

To and from Chichester there is a bus that goes from Cakeham Road, just by Joliffe Road, the number 52 and 53. Both go to Chichester and take between 20-30 mins. The buses are very frequent. The Saltern Way is a great cycle path or walk , lovely pubs on the way. By car its 10 mins from the cathedral city of Chichester.

Interaction with guest

The key will be left in a safe box with a code, just outside the front door. As long as you arrive after 4pm you can arrive when ever is most convenient. If there is a problem with the house, we have a DIY person who has access to the house and another person on Joliffe Road who organises cleaning etc. Otherwise I can be contacted with any questions by phone or email.

This house was prefect for 3 generations to celebrate my dads up and coming big birthday. It was big enough for everyone to have there own space , equipped for everyone's needs . The only disappointment was the weather.
