A fabulous one bedroom holiday home in the heart of Sandown. 20 percent off car ferry up to may 23. Nicely tucked away on a private driveway with parking and the benefit of sea glimses-Culver cliff. Do not have charging outlet. Private front and rear access. Self check-in available. Excellent for self isolating. Non smokers only please. It is walking distance to the lovely sandy beaches, town centre, restaurants and transportation. A Car is not necessary if you like travelling on the local buses and the train station is approx 15 minutes walk away. This home will appeal to all types of couples whether energetic or those who just want a relaxing holiday. Private patio with BBQ. Many coastal walks and bike trails within minutes. Near attractions like Dinosaur Isle and IOW zoo famous for its tiger sanctuary. Wind breaker, umbrella, chairs, beach towels, cooler for beach all available without extra charge.

Excellent also for a WINTER BREAK. The island is much quieter in the winter months and many attractions are open all year round.

Getting around

A car is the easiest way to see the sights but is not necessary if happy to use local transportation. Step of the passenger ferry straight onto train which will take you to Sandown. The station is approx 15 minute walk to holiday house or pop on the hovercraft and buses are available within minutes walk. There are many bus routes that run throughout the island including some open top ones.

This is our fourth year of letting out our holiday home and as avid travellers ourselves we know how important it is that first impressions count. Tweedy pie is self sufficient to cover new guidelines. Own entrance, garden, car spot etc. We live adjacent but both properties are independent. Please read are reviews. “Absolutely brilliant”

Great communication with owner prior to arrival Welcomed by owners upon arrival. Beautiful property. Really nice welcome gifts. Owners could not be more helpful. Property is very nice and quiet. Beautiful view and a 5 min walk to beach. The property has everything you could ask for I wouldnt fault anything. Would love to come again in the future. Thank you Kerry and husband.

“Great getaway”

This was a great little cottage in a great location, 5 mins walk to town and 5 mins walk to the beach. The cottage was spotless and had lots of little extras which was a nice surprise and everything you could want in the house. The private patio on the back was lovely with 2 lounges as well as a bistro set, all in all a 10/10

“Excellent”

As soon as you walk in, you get a good feeling of the place, everything is spotless and all laid out wonderfully. The starter pack and little touches really make it. Its in a great spot for a short walk to the front for food and pubs. An even shorter walk to the bus stop to visit the island. All round excellent.

“Absolutely lovely”

Just spent a week at Tweedie Pie and can honestly say it is such a lovely little cottage. Kerry and Paul are so nice and the welcome basket of goodes, as well as cheese and wine were such a nice surprise. The cottage was extremely clean and fresh, everything has been thought of the only thing I struggled with was having somewhere to do my hair and make-up however, with a little creativity I worked something out. We would definitely recommend and would stay there again. Thank you!

“Fantastic holiday home”

Great property in lovely quiet location, a few minutes walk from the beach Super welcoming hosts, with a selection of treats on arrival. The sun trap back garden was a real bonus, and a was great for eating evening meals, and relaxing after exploring all day. Thank you so much Would stay again happily

“Not a bad word to say.”

We were the first people in this year due to lockdown. We were made to feel very safe and welcome. The house was spotless. So well equipped and very well co-ordinated even the outside bin matched! The garden is a great sun trap (with very pretty flowers ) it was a delight to sit in for an evening G&T! The location from the house to the beach is minutes and to the very tasty Bandstand restaurant. Kerry and Paul were very friendly and gave great suggestions,

How do damage deposits work?

If Kerry (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
