Description

Thistle lodge is a Luxury 2 bedroom 2 bathroom lodge set within the tranquil Grand Eagles Estate on the edge of Auchterarder and only 3 miles from Gleneagles. The lodge is 40 ft x 20 ft and the accommodation consists of a large, open plan livingroom/dining room/kitchen area, master bedroom with ensuite shower room, second bedroom with twin beds and a family bathroom with walk in shower. Additional guests can be accommodated on a blow up mattress. The lodge is double glazed and central heated. This modern and contemporary lodge comes equipped with a fully fitted kitchen with built in fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. It also benefits from a ramped access and an enclosed external raised patio area. There is space to park up to three cars beside the lodge. The Estate is set in 100 acres of lush green woodland with a river running through it providing private fishing and country walks right on the doorstep. The local area offers a number of activities including Gleneagles and Auchterarder golf courses for the golfers in your party, fishing, hill walking and cycling for both the enthusiast and serious athletes with the more extreme challenges of the Ochil Hills range on the doorstep. For the less adventurous there are many options including world class distilleries, interesting local shops in Auchterarder, Crieff, Stirling and Perth and a number of excellent restaurants and bars to explore.

We are not based at the property however the Estate has a manager on site who is very knowledgable about the surrounding area and can assist in arranging golf tee times, transport, restaurant recommendation, places to visit, etc

Well behaved pets are welcome however we do ask that guests keep all pets off the furniture and ensure that their pet does not cause a nuisance to other occupants on the park. “birthday weekend”

We had a fantastic time at the lodge what a lovely place to stay, we will certainly recommend this lodge to our friends, every thing is there for you, beds lovely and comfy all mod cons in the kitchen and spotlessly clean throughout . My thanks to Andy And Lynne for my bottle of wine it certainly went down well with my son and his wife who i must say really enjoyed themselves as did little Leila my granddaughter we will certainly be back.
