Description
Tudor Cottage is located in the Cotswold market town of Fairford and is rumoured to have been once owned by King Henry VIII.
The downstairs area comprises of a living room with Inglenook Fireplace leading into a dining room / Kitchen and Utility Room with door to a small pathway leading to the Secret Garden.
Up the first flight of stairs you will find the Master Superking bedroom with fireplace and Large Bathroom with Shower, sink, Romantic Rolltop Bath and WC. Up the next flight of stairs (steep, not suitable for the elderly) is another beautiful attic bedroom with Superking bed
In the Garden there are two sitting areas, so you can follow the sun and listen to the countryside birds chirping whilst enjoying a glass of wine and some nibbles
There is no long stay parking outside the cottage, but you can park across the road at the supermarket to unload and load your luggage. There is plenty of free parking available at a short distance from the cottage (100 yards away).
Wi-fi is available at the cottage.
Across the road there is a sign to take you on a river walk along the beautiful River Coln. Why not take a picnic with you?
Next door to the cottage is the Fairford Therapy Centre.. why not book a hot stone massage or treat yourself to a facial during your stay then pop into the Fairford Plough (also next door) for a drink
Fairford market place is a short walk and offers plenty of amenities, in fact you need never get in your car for the whole of your stay.
Famous for its 15th Century stained glass windows in the church, the town offers places to eat and shop for groceries with a market every Wednesday.
There are a number of beautiful walks around the town and plenty more within a 2 mile drive. We also provide bicycle storage for those more adventurous types (not too many hills!). Within easy driving distance are the beautiful towns of Cirencester, Cheltenham Spa, Bibury, Lechlade and Tetbury.
We aim to make your stay in our cottage as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

“Christmas at Tudor cottage”
We’ve just got back from a beautiful 4 night stay over Christmas at Tudor Cottage. The cottage is so cosy and beautifully decorated. Very Christmassy! Jody was easy to communicate with And we had everything we needed. The location is great easy to get to all the beautiful villages and plenty of food options. We will definitely be visiting again.

“Perfect cottage in lovely village”
Had a wonderful stay in this lovely cottage. The cottage is beautifully decorated with lovely features everywhere you look. It is extremely well equipped & in a great little village with lots of lovely walks. -one of the best cottages we have stayed in. Even the dog was made to feel at home with lots of doggie treats! We will be back!

“Lovely quaint cottage with everything you could need”
A really lovely old cottage with lots of original features but with all the mod cons needed for an enjoyable and relaxing weekend. The garden Is well laid out and private, perfect for chilling out with a glass of wine in the evening. Staying in Tudor Cottage was a lovely experience and we hope to return again soon.
