Welcome to Alice's Cottage
The views are spectacular from the front of the cottage if you are looking down the valley of Wear dale you can see for miles A quite safe location .but near to most places . 2 dogs welcome no charge
We offer safe parking for our guests as well as quality accommodation in our warm and comfortable cottage. Large bedrooms en-suite witch have their own character. Very well furnished
Near to the beautiful village of Cowshill just less than one mile away .Detached cottages plenty of seating at the front were on an evening you can sit and watch the world go buy with a glass of wine ,with safe parking opposite for two or three cars, views over the High Pennies at the rear is a pretty garden and seated area. .maybe even see a Red Squirrel Rabbits .Black birds .nesting .butterflies and bees

- Shopping most supermarkets do deliver and on a Saturday evening if you order on line. Alice's Cottage is the cottage with a slight gradient up to the front door. The front door opens into an entrance hall that leads to a large open plan area leading off to the lounge, kitchen and the three bedrooms.
we will take one or two small to medium sized dogs .but you need to contact use .There is a small charge, we just ask you to enjoy our cottage and look after them

“Home from home.”
Fantastic views,cottage was very comfortable everything you needed.you do need a car .the rain was plentiful so Welly boots needed for your walks.

“Perfect”
Alice's Cottage was simply perfect. The location offered glorious views, and stunning scenery, with high meadows, wild moorland and dark skies. We had a well equipped cottage, very clean and warm, all on one level. We didn't need the disabled facilities, but can attest to their standard. Harry & Janet were very welcoming. We would certainly isit again and thoroughly recommend them.
