This charming traditional detached cottage is in the village of Winster and sleeps four people in two bedrooms.Rock Cottage is a charming traditional detached cottage in the village of Winster. The cottage sleeps three people in two bedrooms which are a double and a single. There is also a bathroom, a kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a surprisingly secluded patio garden with furniture and a summerhouse where you can enjoy the views that reach out across the village to the countryside beyond. Rock Cottage is a fantastic choice for couples or a family looking to explore the Peak District.
Amenities: Gas central heating with electric coal-effect fire. Gas double oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Adjacent garden with patio furniture, water feature and summerhouse. One well-behaved pet welcome, downstairs only. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 5 mins walk, pub 2 mins walk. Note: There is one step between the sitting room and the kitchen.
Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
Town: The conservation village of Winster is situated within the White Peak area of the Peak District National Park and is an extremely pretty place, with a charming 17th century market house at its centre, and other imposing 17th and 18th century houses, many three storeys high. The three main streets - Main Street, East Bank and West Bank are interconnected by alleyways known as ginnels, which are well worth exploring.
