Description
Bresby Cottage sits at the edge of the original Grade II listed Bresby House, Farm and Barns. The property is surrounded by beautiful gardens and a small woodland.
The Cottage is fully modernised, it really is a warm and comfortable property and one to which you will want to return again. It provides accommodation over two floors.
Sleeping up to 4(5) persons it comprises:
Entrance, leading to either the living room or dining room. The kitchen and utility rooms are accessed either through the dining room or from the rear entrance. The utility provides enough room for wet gear and boots. A downstairs cloakroom is situated off the utility.
The cosy living room has a Smart TV and feature fireplace, sofa and easy chairs in which to relax.
Kitchen and dining area are situated on the ground floor, the kitchen is fully fitted with hardwood worktops, electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The washing machine and dryer are situated in the utility.
There are two large bedrooms, one twin and a double, a third cot room is situated off the double and can be utilised as a single bedroom/cot room or simply a dressing room.
Bresby Cottage location provides opportunity for a real country retreat, where people can experience the local farming community, enjoy walking, bike riding and bird watching and other wildlife. Well behaved dogs are welcome to the property the location is ideal for dog walking.
There is one pub within 1.3 miles, The White hart in Quadring village. There are many popular pub/restaurants in the surrounding area, the curry inn is a popular restaurant in Quadring.
The local thriving community provides annual flower festivals and Christmas candlelit carols. The local farm shop is a popular place to visit to buy local produce, gifts and visit the small animal farm.
Shopping:
The market town of Spalding provides good restaurants, pubs and annual town events including a pumpkin parade.
Nearby, the Springfield’s outlet mall boasts many leading brand outlet shops. The river Welland running through the town allows visitors to travel by boat to the Springfield’s mall. Boats can also be hired to organise picnic days out on the river.
Museums & Historical buildings:
Spalding town promotes historic buildings like Ascoughfee Hall and Museum, the museum with beautiful gardens displays life from the 15th century. Nearby, the Pinchbeck Engine and Land Drainage museum is only a 10 minute drive from Bresby Cottage. The tallest windmill in the country, Moulton Windmill is 20 minute drive from the property. The annual Springfield Tulip festival and the Baytree garden centre are popular attraction with visitors.
Activities:
In addition to walking, bike riding, there are many Golf courses in the surrounding area. In addition, Spalding area’s reputation for quality of fishing, particularly for bream, roach, and pike make it a popular place for anglers. Bresby Cottage is 15 minutes from the Surfleet Reservoir and 20 minutes to Lake Ross.
As Bresby Cottage is surrounded by countryside and the rural farming community, there are many opportunities to see wildlife like; Rabbits, hares, squirrels, muntjacs, many bird species including Cranes, woodpeckers, pheasants, owls and many more.

“Restful Retreat”
If your looking for a quite location this is it. Perfect cozy cottage with all the amenities you need. Pet friendly and plenty of room for the whole family. It is definitely worth a visit.

“Bresby Cottage”
Another lovely few days away in Lincolnshire.Bresby Cottage never disappoints. Lovely cosy feel, warm and inviting.Very well equipped. Plenty of parking. Enclosed garden, great for dogs and children. Lincoln 50 mins drive away. Springfields shopping outlet 15 mins away. Centrally located for all that Lincolnshire has to offer.

“Is there a better place ?”
Beautiful cottage with plenty rooms to spend a great time with family and dogs (closed garden). So clean. Tracey and Joe are kind hosts and they think of their guests. A good place to visit Lincolnshire. Spalding is so lovely

“Highly recommended”
Everything was very well organised, was emailed when cottage ascessable ( which was earlier than stated)and left in no doubt we could contact them for any little details. Pristine and peaceful and all Amenities including large range of games and welcome pack. Definitely return.

“Lovely relaxing stay”
Bresby cottage is excellent. Lovely homely feel. Everything as per pictures. Situated in quiet area not far from Spalding town centre. Easy access to Spitalfields outlet shopping complex. Would recommend to friends and family.
