Description
The old town in the green: Federico's apartment is a cozy apartment with an 800 square meters garden.
Children and pets are welcome at Federico's apartment. Free parking is available both in the apartment complex and in the garden.
The apartment is for a maximum of four people. Indeed, it has a double bed and a new and very confortable sofabed.
The old town in the green, thanks to its big and beautiful garden, represents the perfect choice for everybody: couples that want to have a romantic dinner, friends that would like to drink and chat in a paceful and isolated atmosphere, families with children, people with domestic animals and for those business men that would like to work in a quiet and relaxed place.
The garden has a barbecue, two gazebos and a table with chairs.
Within the apartment you find a TV and free WiFi. The 55 square meters apartment has a doublebedded room with fireplace (only aesthetic), a sofabed, a desk and a table. The bathroom has a shower, wc and bidet. Hairdryer, towels, toilet papers and courtesy kits for bathroom are provided. The kitchen has everything for cooking: Gas hob, electric and microwave oven, pots, pan, glasses, fridge, dishwashing, moka (the italian coffee machine), an american coffe machine good for both coffee and tea. Coffee and tea are provided for free. The laundry room has a washing machine, a sink, an ironing board and an iron. The large glassdoor overlooking the garden allows to light up naturally the apartment.
It is at only 10 minutes by bus far from Porta Romana, from where you can start your tour in the city center of Florence, or few minutes by walk to Piazzale Michelangelo, one of the main attraction of the city. Restaurants, shops and markets are closeby to the apartment.
From 1 July 2011 the City of Florence by resolution of the City Council No. 230/33 of 06.20.2011, integrated by resolution No. 21/2012, has established the “'tourist tax”.
The tax is applied to non-residents overnight stays in the city of Florence and for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights. The tax rate for this tourist structure is 2,50 euro per person per night.
There are the following exemptions:
a) children up to twelve years old ;
b) people who care for patients admitted to local hospitals, including outpatient care, for a maximum of two assistants per patient;
c) patients who make hospital care in outpatient care;
d) students of the University of Florence
It is also provided a 50% reduction of the tourist tax in the following cases:
a) groups of lower and upper secondary schools in Florence in teaching visit; b) athletes under the age of 16 years, members of groups participating in sporting events and tournaments organized in collaboration with the Municipal Administration.
