The Roundhouse is quite simply an exceptional property and is loved by all who come on holiday - many say that words and photos just don’t do it justice - why not visit soon and see for yourself - you are always assured of a very warm welcome.
Having five bedrooms - the large ensuite master bedroom has a king size four poster, a spacious second king size room, two twin bedrooms together with an ever popular single bedroom together with three bathrooms - a very popular feature is that one twin and the single bedrooms together with a family bathroom are on the ground floor - perfect for older family members or the less able. The impressive and immense large circular lounge which by it’s very nature gives the name to ‘ The Roundhouse ‘ is the place where you can all join together to relax and unwind and watch the 50” widescreen LED tv and enjoy the warmth and comfort only a real log fire can offer - there is a large wood stove set in a beautiful full height stone fireplace - off the lounge is the large kitchen dining room with it’s spectacular handmade large dining table - which can comfortably seat 14 - perfect if you decide to also book one of our nearby two 2 bedroom cottages for a larger party to all join together for special celebrations.

Amazing all new dining room off the kitchen with large dining table to comfortably seat 14 and a 37” LED tv, together with a new kitchen with every appliance you can think of - ideal for larger parties or if you just like more space to enjoy your holiday - super LED wide screen television with surround sound system in the lounge with DVD player, beautiful stone fireplace, wood burner and raised reading / relaxing area. The large master bedroom has a beautiful king size four-poster bed, and en suite, together with 32” LCD tv, the second spacious bedroom has a king size bed and there are two twin bedrooms with full size single beds and an ever popular single bedroom.

Just outside the back door is your very own large enclosed bricked seating area - perfect for sitting down relaxing and enjoying the warm summer sun or taking in the beautiful views of the countryside - and for the outdoor chef in your party to prepare a BBQ!
Nearby there’s a children’s adventure play area with many large trampolines, swings and climbing frames. A range of quality new mountain bikes - adults, teenagers and children’s are now available - you can cycle from The Roundhouse and join the famous nearby Tarka Trail, a dedicated scenic 180 mile cycling and walking route.
There are fantastic leisure facilities for you to enjoy and offer hours of fun for both young and old. Work the body and relax the soul in the luxurious under-floor heated indoor pool and spa. You can enjoy an invigorating swim at one end and a relaxing massage at the other. For the more energetic there are 3 high powered jets which when activated is the equivalent of swimming against a strong current! There is also a well equipped fitness room with the very latest water rower, Life Fitness cable multi gym and exercise cycle, treadmill and cross trainer, and afterwards you can soak up the peace and tranquillity in the wonderful Tylo steam sauna or relax and read a book in the adjoining garden room. As well as the pool there is a games room with pool table, table tennis, air hockey & darts, indoor badminton court, tennis court together with complimentary high speed WiFi to ensure you are in touch with the outside world!

“Amazing in all ways.”
Well where do I start. This place is an absolute gem. Over the years we have stayed in numerous holiday homes, both in the UK and abroad. This is a top for us as it is excellent in every way. From the booking to the departure everything has been perfect. John and Sue are a complete dream to work with, answering every query in timely and friendly manner and always so accommodating. The house was absolutely spotless, every single nook and cranny. The facilities ok the complex are amazing. The pool the park area, the games room are all amazing and again immaculate. We were a family of 8, 4 adults and 4 children and the house was more than big enough and was equipped with everything. We loves our week there and will certainly be returning. In fact while we were there I was sharing on social media with friends ms family what a great place it is and they have already booked to go. What more can we say but “Thank you “ John and Sue for a lovely week.
