“Outstanding cottage”

Reviewed 8 Aug 2021

This cottage was amazing! It was well-equipped, organised and extremely welcoming- we loved the basket that was supplied. Also this cottage was deceptively larger than shown in the images. We couldn’t fault this cottage at all. Excellent sums it up! It is well situated to visit so many different areas. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

“Lovely cottage, perfect for our family stay”

Reviewed 7 Sep 2017

The cottage was well located in a small village and we made use of many of the local amenities (play-park, Co-op, Chinese take-away and pharmacy to name a few!) and suited us well with them all at walking distance. It was the perfect midpoint for hoping into Durham (10 mins drive) or over to Sunderland or Newcastle (30 mins). The cottage was well equipped -bedrooms a good size and although it doesn't look that big from the outsize it is tardis-like and the space is used very well. Kitchen well appointed and I was even able to make my mum a big birthday cake! Would definitely return if we come to stay in the area again as an extended family.
