“Quite week away”
We were looking for a quiet and relaxing week away, we found both at this property. The photographs clearly describe the thatched property very accurately, a charming dwelling in gorgeous surroundings. The owners were charming, informative and at hand should we have needed them, the location was perfect for walking, cycling to so many charming places, driving was a very short drive into Aberfeldy. A great overall experience and one we would plan to do again in the future.

“Lovely cottage thanks.”
We had a great time in this lovely cottage and had everything we needed for a cosy get away for two. Great location.

“Small and compact in beautiful location”
Hillfold Bothy is in a great location for exploring Perthshire and ideal for people planning on walking or cycling or being out all day. We visited in June and were blessed with fine weather and able to enjoy the outdoor space in the evening. If the weather had been bad it would have been a different experience as the interior is dark. If you're looking for small, practical and centrally located it's perfect.

“Wonderful location”
Had a wonderful week in late September exploring the Loch Tay area. The cottage location was fantastic, with easy access to Aberfeldy in one direction and Kenmore and Loch Tay in the other. The cottage adjoins the owners' house and I found my hosts very friendly and welcoming. The cottage is perfect for a couple, or a single person and makes a great base for exploring Loch Tay. Just down the road is Castle Menzies, and the area is full of outdoor recreational opportunities. I had a great week and highly recommend the cottage. I am already making plans to come back!
