Description from manager

Description

One of five beautifully crafted stone cottages built around a beautiful courtyard with water feature.

Chestnut, on the ground floor of the main converted barn, is very spacious and luxurious for two people. From the tiled outside area with solid stone slab seating you enter a small lobby which leads into the solid oak kitchen. You then pass through beautiful solid ash double doors set in a wooden screen to reach the comfortable living and dining area. An unusual open fire, exposed joists and beams and African slate floor make this a most sumptuous apartment. A large sofa bed allows two extra guests to be accommodated in comfort.

The bedroom, through a curtained wooden archway features a curved window seat and reading table with a lovely view of the pond and Cotswold valley beyond. There are internal wooden shutters which gives your bedroom ultimate seclusion. The luxurious ensuite bathroom features oak panelling and an African slate wet floor. It has a deep, comfortable bath with overhead shower

From the open plan living area with comfortable armchairs and elegant oak-framed French windows you are welcomed you out onto the sun trapped courtyard where you’ll find your own seating area nestled between the potted Lemon tree and Hydrangea.

Every attention has been given to provide superior crafted, natural luxury for your pleasure. Visit England’s unique Gold awards are given in recognition of exceptional quality within a property’s star rating, or for outperforming a star rating. Chestnut comfortably outperforms.

“Far from normal”

Response from the manager Dear Dave Thank you so much for the absolutely wonderful and very descriptive review! It is especially rewarding to receive such high praise from returning guests who can appreciate the consistency we apply. We take great pride and attention to details in order to create a memorable and relaxing stay with us. As part of Green Tourism we also promote local attractions on our website and also have created many wonderful facilities and activities on the farm so there's less need to travel. The rebuilt pond which can be fished, swam or boated on together with the games room, private gardens in Walnut 7 Chestnut as well as the extended games lawn and woodland stage have all added to the charm and wonder of Heath Farm. We look forward to seeing you back again one day.

Response from the manager Thank you so much for the five star review! We take great pride in delivering an amazing experience with scrumptiously clean cottages, open fireplaces and loads of fun facilities and activities on site which are all part of the inclusive price. We hope you return again one day, ideally longer than a weekend as it's also far better value for money the longer you stay! Kind Regards The Barbour Family
