Description from owner

Description

A warm welcome in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside awaits you. The barn is part of a 50 acre farm it was converted in 2009. Many original features have been retained and energy efficient technology used where possible.

The accommodation is in the style of a bunkhouse but finished to a high standard with ample space and comfort throughout. In keeping with the accommodation type please be aware we don't provide bedding/towels.You will need to bring your own duvet/sleeping bag and towels (pillows and a fitted bottom sheet are provided) or we can provide duvets at an adittional cost

The barn sleeps 15 people in four bedrooms ranging from six occupants to two. We are sometimes able to rent out rooms separately, contact us for how to book individual bedrooms - there are also discounts for three nights or more so do ask. The downstairs bedroom (Cuckoo's nest) has an ensuite wet room suitable for people with disabilities, and there is level access to the entire ground floor of the barn from here. The communal kitchen is spacious and well equipped, there is a comfortable dining room which will happily seat 15. The cosy beamed lounge has a TV, but there are aerial points in all bedrooms should you wish to bring your own. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer available on a pay to use basis. The outdoor decking and patio area is a real bonus, because part of it is covered it helps you enjoy the outdoors even in wet weather. A BBQ is available too. There is plenty to feast your eyes upon - views, cattle, sheep, chickens, orchards and more. Haye Farm also has two carp fishing pools available for pleasure fishing. There is an outdoor washing point for cleaning bikes, fishing gear or muddy boots! Secure storage for large items is also available. Don't forget bring your own duvet/sleeping bag and towels (pillows and a fitted bottom sheet are provided) or we can provide duvets for a small cost. Oh yes, in season you can buy apples, plums, cherries and pears, apple juice, and sometimes eggs and veg are available.

Getting around

It's about a mile's walk into Bewdley, hilly in some parts, or of course driving will take just a few minutes. Taxi numbers are available. Takeaways can be delivered too.

Interaction with guest

You will be staying on the site of a working family farm. We tend to be busy looking after the animals and farm a lot of the time but there's mostly someone around should we be needed. We take a pretty hands off approach but are happy to help if and when we can
