Description

The charming farmhouse "La Pieve" is located on the hills of Val d'Elsa, between Volterra and San Gimignano, along the Via Francigena, in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, rich in natural and historical elements. There is approached along a tree-lined avenue, very striking, which frames finds of the ancient Etruscan civilization and the beautiful Romanesque church of SS. Ippolito and Cassiano, the tenth century, from which the house takes its name. The farm provides for its dormant one suite, a cottage and an apartment, renovated preserving and enhancing the typical elements of the Tuscan countryside, with the use of natural materials and ancient techniques, such as earthenware. The infinity pool, surrounded by the silence of the great olive grove, is equipped with deckchairs, sun beds and shady intimate corners. In the night it is lit and gives a magic charm to the landscape, giving quiet moments of serenity space. A solarium, with separate entrance, is available to guests, where you can relax, have a drink and enjoy a splendid view on the Siena hills and olive groves. The farm also has a park, with a clean and orderly undergrowth, perfect for walks and moments of tranquility on the benches placed along the beaten paths. Etruscan Tracks, dens of wild animals, wild herbs, evoking an enchanted atmosphere and pristine Nature.
