Description

Little Friston Lodge is a luxury holiday home in the most delightful of settings - overlooking rolling uninterrupted countryside and fields of the South Downs National Park, bordered by forest, so perfect for those of you who appreciate a tranquil, idyllic location.

The cottage is ideally located for wonderful walks and cycle rides or for visits to local historic sites such as Pevensey Castle. It has a private entrance and adjoins a majestic country house, giving you a share in the expansive gardens and grounds - with direct access on to the South Downs.

There are are two bedrooms sleeping up to four. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom is usually a twin, but can be set up as a kingsize - so this is a great option for couples as well as families. There is also a spacious family shower room upstairs, and a downstairs toilet.

Downstairs, there is a large, open-plan living space with patio doors on to a private terrace with table and chairs enjoying wonderful countryside views.

The dining table is placed by these French doors, so even when dining indoors you have the perfect opportunity to take in the views.

The kitchen area is fully equipped for self-catering, with all the utensils you’ll need, plus washing machine, double oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave.

The lounge has a wood-burning stove (logs provided), a TV, DVD player, iPod docking station and a Sonos WiFi speaker.

If you're on a cycling trip, you can store your bikes in an adjacent shed in the grounds.

There is private, off-road parking for two vehicles for the cottage. WiFi is provided, plus high quality towel and linen, and the owners throw in a few welcome goodies to get you started.

The lodge is set along the road to Jevington Village so whilst it is a minor, generally very quiet road, there will inevitably be some cars heading to the village by residents. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
