Description

Quaint and tastefully renovated 2 bedroom apartment, full of history and charm. It is one of the oldest buildings in New Mills and I'm lead to believe from my history lessons in school that this stoney building housed the cotton spinners from the mills back in the late 1700's!

Just a stones throw from the Torrs Millenium Walk and the Sett Valley Trail, with easy access for walks up Kinder Scout and Lantern Pike or wondering around Lyme Park.

All amenities such as Sainsbury's, Boots, local take always and pubs as well as transport links are only a 1-2 minute walk away.

“Ideal location”

This cottage is in an excellent location for walks, shops and restaurants. Ideal for a short stay and off the main road. The cottage itself needs a little bit of sprucing up, it has a bit of wear and tear in places e.g. bathroom needs painting, a sunken settee, the outside area needs a bit of TLC. The rooms were clean though. Jason and Kim, the owners, were very responsive to the queries we had.

“Lovely hidden gem.”

The location was brilliant and just what we needed for a quiet weekend away from it all. Close to pubs and shops and some fantastic walks.The apartment was brilliant and just right.

Was really nice place to stay.top notch accommodation owner was excellent couldn't have done any more for us.. will defiantly stay there again.
