Description

This detached single storey is wheelchair accessible and sleeps up to four people in two bedrooms.Drimpton is a small village in the heart of rural West Dorset, just half a mile from the Somerset border and 4 miles from Devon. The area is good for walking and cycling and is within easy reach of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. In Drimpton is Brookfield Lodge, a bright and spacious bungalow in the grounds of the owner's home. Thoughtfully laid out, the rooms are generously sized and accessible for wheelchair users. There is a games room with table tennis and table football, and at the rear is a paved area where guests can enjoy views of horses quietly grazing in the paddock beyond. Brookfield Lodge is comprised of a smart kitchen, lounge with glazed doors to the sitting out area and two bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room. In addition to the en-suite, there is a purpose-built wet room. Note: There is an additional heating charge of £25/week between 16th September and 27th May, paid after your holiday is confirmed.

Amenities: Central heating. Electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, washing machine. TV/DVD, WiFi. Cot and highchair available on request. Bed linen and towels included free of charge. Off road parking for two cars. Lawned garden with paved patio, furniture and BBQ. Two pets accepted. No smoking anywhere on the premises. Shop 3 miles, Pub 500 yards. Beach 10 miles. Note: One step down from patio area to garden.

Town: The town of Beaminster is in the Dorset AONB. Around its square is the Conservation Area with over 200 listed buildings, many built from mellow hamstone. This community offers shops, inns and restaurants, in summer there is a music and arts festival. The area abounds in footpaths. Nearby is Bridport on Dorset's Jurassic Coast, whilst Lyme Regis, Dorchester and Weymouth are all accessible. A charming Dorset town set in an attractive rural setting.
