Sleeping four people in two bedrooms, this detached cottage is in Longframlington village in NorthumberlandAshdowne is a semi-detached cottage in the Northumberland village of Longframlington. The cottage has a ground floor twin room, and a spacious first floor super king-size double room. There is a ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the sitting room has a dining area and a multi-fuel stove in Inglenook fireplace. Outside is off road parking and an enclosed rear decked garden with furniture and BBQ. Ashdowne makes a wonderful base from which to enjoy the coast, countryside, castles, Cragside and more!

Amenities: Oil central heating with multi-fuel stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, TV with Freeview, DVD, radio/CD player, selection of books and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed rear garden. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk.

Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian's Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

Town: Set in the heart of Northumberland between the Cheviots and the coast, the village of Longframlington provides access to a range of walking opportunities throughout this picturesque region. Brinkburn Priory is a short drive away and offers visitors a chance to see the restored Augustinian Priory beside the River Coquet. Just 10 minutes drive to the west is the National Trust's Cragside House and Gardens, whilst 15 minutes in the opposite direction will lead to the Heritage Coast and miles of clean, sandy beaches. The historic town of Alnwick, with its impressive Castle and Garden, is only six miles to the north whilst the spectacular National Park is also within easy reach.
