Description

Beautiful modern 1 bedroom apartment. Double bedroom plus single sofa bed to accommodate third person. Fully refurbished and decorated in 2019 with new shower room and kitchen. Set in a stone-faced Victorian villa, the apartment is well equipped with flat screen tv, DVD player, fitted kitchen with hob, oven, microwave oven and fridge. Walk in shower. Free Wi-Fi throughout the property. There is unrestricted free parking outside or near to Woodlands.

We are situated in a quiet area only 200 metres from the beach, 50 metres from beautiful Ashton Gardens and a 5 minute walk through the gardens to St Annes Square and the main shopping area and restaurant quarter.

For those wishing to visit Blackpool, the UK's most popular holiday resort, yet stay somewhere away from the hustle and bustle, we are only a ten minute drive away. For golfers, this quaint seaside town is home to the world famous Royal Lytham St Annes championship golf club and there are three other magnificent courses within a ten minute drive. For the less energetic there is an award winning day spa nearby.

Woodlands apartments are in a central position in the town, which has bus links to local areas and beyond. The railway station is only 400 metres from the apartments, linking St Annes with Preston from where trains can be taken to Manchester, Liverpool or the picturesque Lake District within one hour. St. Annes has a wealth of popular pubs and restaurants as well as a public swimming pool, cinema and theatre.

Various events are held throughout the year. The week long Lytham festival in July boasts some of the world's biggest music stars and St Annes international kite festival in September attracts visitors worldwide.

Please note that our apartments are on the first and second floors and are accessed by stairs so might not be suitable for guests with restricted mobility.

“Lovely Apartments for a 3 night stay”

Apartment is spotless. Very clean and fresh with recently upgraded toilet and kitchen area. Immaculate, with nice modern touches. Kitchen a bit small, but perfect for one person to rustle up a nice breakfast or a bit supper. Might be worth a blackout blind in the bedroom, if you like a long lie in the summer months, but I found it ok. Perfect size for two or three for a few days away, with the living room comfortably fitting 4 or 5 adults easily. Perfect location for shops, beach access or the main road for bus routes. We walked to Blackpool and back via the expansive Lytham beach, which is a 5 min stroll away down beach road. Local pubs and restaurants are 5minutes through the beautiful Ashton gardens, which is just to the side of the apartment. A nice spot if you just want to watch the birds in the pond of an evening. The local Chinese/Thai we found excellent, so recommend if you do visit. Maybe not the best time to visit, with COVID restrictions still in place, but we found we were happy with the choice of the apartment as our social spot for the two of us, as it was a lovely cosy change of scene for us. Hopefully we will be back post-COVID and in sunnier weather to fully appreciate Lytham st Anne’s. Overall a great place to visit Lytham st Anne’s, or to dip your toe into Blackpool.

Great location. Thoughtful owners. Nice touches such as toiletries. Very modern apartment. Near to beach and sand dunes. Bus stop shops bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Fab.

Had a really lovely few days in St Anne’s in this modern, comfy apartment. Handy for shops and lovely Ashton Gardens. Bus stop a 3 minute walk away. Lovely helpful hosts. Can highly recommend
