This impressive townhouse is close to beach and sleeps up to eleven people in five bedrooms. Note : Friday check in onlyIn the heart of the popular seaside resort of Teignmouth, is Sunny Mount, a beautiful Victorian terraced townhouse. Retaining some original features, Sunny Mount has been lovingly refurbished to offer stylish holiday accommodation with a nautical theme - including portholes and a pirate chest! The fabulous kitchen/diner has a glass roof, and is the real focal point of the house. This enormous room, with a snug at one end has a real holiday feel. Doors lead out to the small courtyard with a patio and a covered area complete with garden furniture. Over the upper two floors are 5 bedrooms, the master double and the second floor double bedroom both have views across the roof tops to the beach and pier. The bunk room is ideal for both children and adults.

A short walk takes you to the award-winning sandy beach which features a promenade, Victorian pier and huge children's play park with water fountains. Teignmouth also offers a wonderful selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. With the train station and passenger ferry to Shaldon within easy walking distance you can leave the car behind. Note : Friday check in only

Region: Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Town: Teignmouth is in South Devon on the Teign estuary, boasting a harbour, beach, Victorian pier, sailing club, diving centre and sea activities. The seaward side of the town, the Den, has Georgian buildings, an area with lawns, play areas, tennis courts, a bowling green, and a lighthouse. The opposite side holds fishing boats and beach huts, plus views of Shaldon and Dartmoor. Teignmouth hosts folk and jazz festivals each year, the town and Shaldon hold carnivals and regattas. Close to Teignmouth is the Dartmoor National Park, the city of Exeter, plus the nearby harbour towns are worth exploring.
