Description
KIVUVU, believed to be a Bantu word meaning peace, which is exactly what we hope you find here. Kivuvu is a detached bungalow next to our house. You have your own fenced garden and patio area, to the front is another small patio with a tap and hose available for washing down muddy boots, bikes, dogs etc. Inside you have an area for the dog(s) to sleep or store bikes that has a washing machine. The bedroom sleeps two and can be a double or a twin so you will need to let us know your preference. There is a kitchen with fridge/freezer, and an oven and hob. The lounge area has plenty of natural light and leads straight out onto the patio and garden area, there is also a door to the shower room/toilet area. There are hard floors throughout so dog hair shouldn't be a problem but please make sure they do not get on beds or furniture. There is off street parking available. We are close to the coastal path and other footpaths and bridle ways, and close to the round the island cycle route.

“Very good”
We spent 1 week in this spacious and comfortable annexe. On arrival we received a welcoming bottle of wine, homemade cake, bread, eggs and bacon, not to mention the welcome from scooby their gorgeous dog. The owners are next door so are on hand if you need anything which isnt likely. There is also a private garden with table and chairs and a rotary drier. There is a large utility room with washing machine and dishwasher which we didnt use! My only criticisms would be the sitting room could benefit from a few more homely touches and the fantastic shower could use a place to put shampoo etc and a grab rail but these are just picky criticisms.
