Description

This contemporary yet character cottage is located in the village of Spark Bridge, in the Lake District and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.Laurel Cottage is a beautiful topsy-turvy character cottage with bags of charm and contemporary style. Downstairs bedrooms include a master double with en-suite shower room and a children's bedroom with bunk beds. There's also a separate family bathroom and utility cupboard in the hall with washing machine and dryer. Upstairs there's a gorgeous light and airy open plan living/dining/kitchen that's fully equipped and has some lovely views to open countryside. Just a 5-minute walk along the river to a friendly village pub, Laurel Cottage is set in Spark Bridge, just 2 miles from Coniston Water and a 5-minute drive from the southern tip of Lake Windermere making this charming picture-perfect holiday home the ideal base for exploring the South Lakes and Yorkshire Dales at any time of year.

Very good place but we had to adjust heating and hot water to be warm! I like a hot bath! Much better lighting needed in Living room/diner for reading- need sppto lights!!
