Description
This contemporary yet character cottage is located in the village of Spark Bridge, in the Lake District and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.Laurel Cottage is a beautiful topsy-turvy character cottage with bags of charm and contemporary style. Downstairs bedrooms include a master double with en-suite shower room and a children's bedroom with bunk beds. There's also a separate family bathroom and utility cupboard in the hall with washing machine and dryer. Upstairs there's a gorgeous light and airy open plan living/dining/kitchen that's fully equipped and has some lovely views to open countryside. Within 0.1 mile you will find a pub. Laurel Cottage is set in Spark Bridge, just 2 miles from Coniston Water and a 5-minute drive from the southern tip of Lake Windermere. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.
Amenities: Electric central heating plus wood burning stove. Electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, Freeview Smart TV, DVD, games, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Hairdryer. Travel Cot available. Off road parking for 1 car plus on-street parking. Enclosed patio with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Close to village pub and river. Coniston Water 2 miles, Lake Windermere 6 miles.

A short drive way is the village of Ulverston which offers a wider range of shops, pubs and activities for you to enjoy. With plenty of walking opportunities both coastal and countryside, this is an ideal location for a peaceful break.

“Good family break”
Very good place but we had to adjust heating and hot water to be warm! I like a hot bath! Much better lighting needed in Living room/diner for reading- need sppto lights!!
