Description

This contemporary yet character cottage is located in the village of Spark Bridge, in the Lake District and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.Laurel Cottage is a beautiful topsy-turvy character cottage with bags of charm and contemporary style. Downstairs bedrooms include a master double with en-suite shower room and a children's bedroom with bunk beds. There's also a separate family bathroom and utility cupboard in the hall with washing machine and dryer. Upstairs there's a gorgeous light and airy open plan living/dining/kitchen that's fully equipped and has some lovely views to open countryside. Within 0.1 mile you will find a pub. Laurel Cottage is set in Spark Bridge, just 2 miles from Coniston Water and a 5-minute drive from the southern tip of Lake Windermere. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.

Town: A small village, Spark Bridge offers two pubs. Nearby, lies the village of Greenodd, where you will find a variety of shops and a pub. A short drive way is the village of Ulverston which offers a wider range of shops, pubs and activities for you to enjoy. With plenty of walking opportunities both coastal and countryside, this is an ideal location for a peaceful break.

Very good place but we had to adjust heating and hot water to be warm! I like a hot bath! Much better lighting needed in Living room/diner for reading- need sppto lights!!
