This barn conversion is located one mile from the village of Bickleigh in Devon and sleeps 8 people in 4 bedrooms.Fig Tree Cottage is a detached barn conversion located one mile from the village of Bickleigh in Mid Devon. The cottage sleeps eight people in four bedrooms - one ground floor super king-size double, which has zip and link beds, one ground floor twin, one super king-size double on the first floor with en-suite bath, shower over, basin and WC and one first floor double with dressing room. On the ground floor there is also a shower room and on the first floor, a main bathroom. The property includes a washing machine and tumble dryer. The living accommodation comprises a fitted kitchen, dining room and sitting room with woodburning stove. Off road parking is available outside for three cars, while guests have a private large lawned garden with furniture. There is a large private garden for children to run around while parents can sit on the large patio area rattan furniture, enjoying taking in the panoramic views. At night time, beautiful stars are out due to no night pollution and you can sit and gaze at the stars with a glass of wine. Local wildlife can often be seen in the area such as deer, sh eep, cattle, hawks and buzzards.With lovely countryside views over the Exe Valley, and with the delights of peaceful Bickleigh village close by, Fig Tree Cottage makes a great base for a relaxing family holiday in Mid Devon. Cream tea welcome basket on arrival including scones, jam, cream, bread, tea, milk, butter and sugar. Essential kitchen pack provided which includes a green scouring sponge, fairy washing liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing powder, tin foil, tea towels, oven gloves, bin liner, dishcloths, Wet wipes and hand sanitiser are also included for your protection. Note: We use a surface disinfection UVC light in rooms after they have been cleaned, we sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob, we use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, we wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination, we clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists and we provide extra cleaning supplies for your protection.
