Location
The Coach House is on the grounds of the larger Garden House however with its own access is separated from the main house to provide an intimate stay for up to 7 guests.
It is less than five minutes walk from the centre of historic Stamford, the train station and Burghley Park Golf Club. The A1 is just a 2 minute drive from the house.
Stamford - the town centre, which features regularly in The Sunday Times list of the best places to live in Britain, is where we are located. Peterborough is 20 minutes drive away so is Oakham, Rutland

“Practical”
It all worked ok and there was space for us all. Sadly it’s not shown in the photos how this accommodation is more like a student halls and the walls need a fresh paint. Having small lively children with us meant we were less concerned as we might often be in somewhere a touch fancier. I feel as families with small budgets we wanted a treat. We paid far too much. I was hoping it might be nicer considering the age of the building and the area and how much we paid. The owners were really friendly and accommodating of our travel times and left a nice bit of welcome pack food for us arriving late which does count for a lot. The shabby parts didn’t detract from the enjoyment we had of the area or of our friends company.

“Lovely cottage and superb service from vendor”
Stamford is a beautiful place, with plenty to do, the cottage was superbly situated 5-10 mins from the town centre, very spacious, lovely and clean, it was a perfect stay. We were all very well looked after, provided with tea, coffee, milk and an abundance of fruit. We were informed when the cottage was ready and were able to check in early. We will definitely be back, can not fault the whole experience.

“Good Location. Excellent WiFi . Very Spacious”
Very good location and well equipped. Decorated well downstairs but the bedrooms were rather shabby and the radiators did not work in two of them.
