Description
A stone-built cottage sat on the outskirts of Wroxall on the Isle of Wight, it can sleep two people in one bedroom.The Retreat forms part of a stone cottage in the village of Wroxall on the Isle of Wight. It has one double bedroom and a family shower room, it is able to sleep up to two people. There is also a kitchen/diner and a sitting room inside the property. Outside there is off road parking and a woodland surrounding the cottage. The Retreat can be used as a romantic getaway or as a base for a holiday of outdoor adventure.
Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.
Amenities: Electric panel heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books and DVDs. Power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off road parking. One well-behaved dog allowed. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 15 minute walk.
Region: The Isle of Wight, with its beaches, unspoiled scenery, rich heritage and over 500 miles of award-winning public footpaths is a walkers paradise, or if sailing is your thing, the renowned annual Cowes Week is not to be missed.
Town: This village sits two miles from the coast on the Isle of Wight. Wroxall and the surrounding area offers something to suit every taste. Here there is The Star Inn serving food, as well as a convenience store. You can also find the Donkey Sanctuary and Falconry Centre to experience something different. Appuldurcombe House sits just off of the centre of Wroxall, a historical landmark worth a look. Ventnor is a short drive away and offers a range of amenities, a botanical garden and a beach to enjoy. The whole of the island is easily accessible by car as it is only around 25 miles wide, you can visit the Isle of Wight AONB and the Hamstead Heritage Coast.
