Description

Spacious, light and airy deluxe 3-storey detached house in Dorset, situated in an elevated position with balconies overlooking the Purbecks and provides easy access to Sandbanks, Poole, Bournemouth and the world heritage Jurassic coast. Wi-Fi and pet friendly.

Sleeps 18: 6 bedrooms/3 en-suites/family shower room/cloakroom.

Ground floor comprises four bedrooms. Bedroom 1: 2 x adult size bunk beds and en-suite shower room. Bedroom 2: 1 x double bed and 2 x single beds. Bedroom 3: 1 x super king size bed and 1 x single bed with en-suite bathroom and patio doors leading out to the lower balcony. Bedroom 4: 1 x king-size bed with en-suite shower room and door leading to the garden and lower balcony. There is also a separate family shower room. There is access to the integral garage on the lower ground floor furnished with a pool table, table football and dart board.

The first floor comprises spacious open plan lounge/dining room with seating for 20 guests, and access to the upper balcony. A separate well equipped kitchen with breakfast table also leads to the wrap-around balcony with beautiful panoramic views. Bedroom 5: 1 x double and 1 x single bed. Bedroom 6: 1 x king-size bed. The WC is also on this floor. In the garden, there are outdoor tables, benches and a charcoal BBQ for those al fresco moments.

The steep drive leading to the front of the property provides ample parking for several vehicles, with plenty of additional roadside parking.

“NCT family getaway”

10 adults and 5 children, all aged 1, wanted to book a holiday Home so we could all get together to celebrate a birthday!! Wow what a house we found in Flambard Road. We all met at NCT classes when we were all pregnant and we wanted to find a house where we could all have double bed in our bedrooms which would also facilitate a travel cot in each room too. 3 Big double bedrooms and a room with two bunk beds as soon as you walk in on ground level and then upstairs to the lounge/diner, kitchen and 2 further double rooms. You’d think it would be a big ask but Flambard Road was outstanding. As soon as we enquired the owners were wonderful. Speedy email responses and couldn’t do enough for us. With 5 double rooms all decorated to an exceptional standard. Fabulous open plan dining and living room with laminate flooring which was bright and spacious so you didn’t feel like you were living on top of each other. Luxurious leather and fabric sofas to relax on after a day out at the nearby beach and marina, the marina was around a 25 minute walk with access to Tesco express and local eateries. The kitchen was well stocked with glassware and crockery and a large fridge freezer to stock copious amounts of food, milk and Prosecco. A bbq in the small garden with picnic benches to sit on but plenty of room for the kids to crawl around. Difficult access to the garden as you have to go through one of the 2 double rooms downstairs or go round the side of the house up a kind of rockery area which we found strange. Steep drive to park on but 3 cars easily and a further 2 parked on the road outside. Pool table in the garage with darts board pleased us and although WiFi didn’t work it made us all put phones away and play bird games and “Prosecco pong”. A short drive to the stunning white sandy beach’s of sandbanks and with beautiful cafes and beach bars it’s simply wonderful in Poole. We would recommend this house to families, groups and those who all want to be together at the end of the night with the little ones tucked up safe and sound. We had the most wonderful time.
