This beautiful four bedroom period house has recently been renovated and stylishly furnished to an extremely high standard in a contemporary mix of antique/vintage and designer modern. It has many original features including stripped wooden flooring, cornices and fireplaces.

Northfields underground station is just a couple of minutes walk around the corner from the house and the Piccadilly line takes just 20 minutes in one direction to Heathrow Airport and 25 minutes in the other direction to Harrods in Knightsbridge. Junction 2 of the M4 motorway is only 2.2km away and the A40 main road only 4.3km away.

The Windermere House is perfectly situated in a quiet tree lined residential street in leafy Northfields, Ealing, right next to Lammas Park where one can enjoy walks or take the children to the play ground.

Once inside the house the hallway leads to the inviting and comfortable sitting room with two sofas, fireplace and smart TV with multi-channels. Through an arch way to the spacious open plan kitchen/diner with fireplace and antique dining table accommodating up to six people (even eight people when the table is extended. There are two easy chairs here to sit and enjoy the view of the sunny south facing newly landscaped rear garden. The very well equipped modern kitchen and family dining area has an American style fridge/freezer with cold water and ice on demand and all the appliances you would expect to find in a first class holiday home. French doors from both the dining area and kitchen lead to the pretty back garden with a sun terrace and seating area. For added convenience there is also a downstairs WC tucked neatly under the stairs.On the first floor and overlooking the front of the house is the large master bedroom featuring a contemporary button back king size bed and plenty of built-in wardrobe space, original tiled fireplace and an antique mahogany chest of drawers and mirror. The main bathroom has a bathtub, overhead shower, basin and WC and is tiled in white and black accents. Next to the bathroom is the second double bedroom which is a lovely peaceful room overlooking the back garden and offers a double bed, closet and chest of drawers. In addition there is a sweet little single bedroom at the front of the house with an antique Victorian bed. Upstairs the second floor has recently been renovated and furnished again to a very high standard for the use as a large double bedroom or extra sitting/living room space. There is a new and very comfortable double sofa/sofa bed in which to relax and watch the wall mounted flat screen TV or enjoy views from the French doors overlooking roof tops and the garden. There is a contemporary en-suite bathroom with fabulous walk-in shower, basin and WC.

“Perfect House for a stay in London”

As a family we had to travel from Ireland to London where my husband was having surgery. After many weeks of trying to find accommodation I finally came across Windemere House in Ealing. It appeared to be the perfect match for what we were looking for. This house is amazing and ticked every single box for a comfortable, easy stay especially in the circumstances we were in. It is so comfortable and has absolutely everything needed for either a long or short stay. There are three big bedrooms and one single. The attic bedroom is like an apartment with ensuite bathroom (with a walk in shower) and a tv. The quality of the bedlinen was excellent. The kitchen is really well equipped with a fantastic cooker, a huge fridge freezer, washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher etc etc. There was so much cutlery, cooking utensils, plates etc which is so important as sometimes when you book somewhere these can be lacking. There is a lovely big table and chairs in the kitchen/dining area. The living area is very comfortable with two big settees and a satellite tv. The area where the house is located is very quiet and you are guaranteed a good nights sleep. The WIFI in the house is brilliant and never dropped. Two of the people staying were working and had no problems whatsoever with it. The house is literally a seven minute walk from Northfields tube station where you can get the tube (Piccadilly line) into the centre of London in around 30 minutes. Northfields is also only a short distance from Heathrow so the location of the house is ideal if you are flying into there. The main street is five minutes from the house and there are a great selection of restaurants, coffee shops and also a Sainsbury and Tesco express store. About a twenty minute walk brings you to Ealing Broadway where there is a huge selection of shops and restaurants. Lammas Park is right beside the house and lovely for a walk. There are so many positives to this house - if you're thinking of booking it do it!! Now for Vanessa. What can I say about her that hasn't been said before!! From the moment I made an enquiry regarding booking Windemere House she was nothing but helpful. We were very anxious about our trip and Vanessa put our minds to rest. When she met us at the house she couldn't have been nicer and explained things to us in a concise way with regards to the house. It made such a difference to be greeted with such friendliness and kindness. During our stay she was at the end of the phone for any queries we had and she pointed us in the right direction regarding travel options including an excellent local cab services and restaurant recommendations. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Vanessa - Aileen, Billy, Emma & Peter.

Prima verblijf gehad in Windermere House. Netjes, schoon, prima voorzieningen in het huis. Vanessa ontving ons heel hartelijk, we hadden goed contact met haar voordat wij op vakantie gingen. Het huis ligt vlakbij het Lamma Park waar je een fijne wandeling kan maken.

“Excellent Location, Fabulous Space, Great Host”

We stayed for 3 weeks at the Windermere house. Vanessa was an amazing host and was willing to work with us to get us exactly what we needed. She was available and always ready and quick to help. You can’t have a better location in West London. Just a few minutes walk to grocery stores, lots of wonderful restaurants and cafes, and a 2 minute walk to Lammas park. My girls loved the play park just around the corner. There’s a Sainsburys and Tesco just a few minutes walk and a lot of fabulous restaurants. The space is wonderful! There’s a large open floor plan kitchen, living, dining which was great for family meals and lots of room for our kids to play. The kitchen steps out into a private garden with places to sit and enjoy. The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge, oven, dishwasher and microwave not to mention lots of kitchen necessities. The beds were very comfortable and there is a lot of places to store things in the rooms. The loft was amazing! We used it as an office and it was so nice to look out from the balcony. We also loved that there is a shower room, bath room and w.c. The internet was fast and easy to connect to. I would recommend the Windermere house and Vanessa at Wright apartments to anyone! Thank you for such a comfortable stay.

“Maison très agréable et bien équipée”

Maison calme, assez spacieuse dans une rue résidentielle à côté de la station de Northfields (Picadilly Line zone 3 donc très facile d'aller au centre de Londres), confortable bien chauffée et très bien équipé proche de commerces. Un Waitrose à West Ealing. Quiet, confortable and lovely house with everything you need. Close to Nothfields station & shops. 2 double beds, one sofa, one single bed. Be carefull about allowed or not hours of street parking. 2 chambres avec lits double (135). une avec canapé lit et une chambre 1 lit 1 personne. En théorie 7 personnes mais avec des enfants ou célibataires c'est moins. Accueil très agréable et la personne est venue très vite pour un réglage de thermostat de température ambiante. Attention aux horaires de parking interdit sans autorisation de 9h à 10h am et de 3h à 4h pm. Au bout de la rue interdit de 10h à 4pm. On peut se garer le matin avec changement à 10h am mais pour l'après midi il faut trouver une solution (voir les zones de stationnement dans Ealing). Je recommande.

How do damage deposits work?
