SAUNTON POINT BREAK OVERVIEW
Located in the secure Ocean Point complex, offers unrivalled sea views from nearly every room, probably the best views in North Devon. Rooms are warmed with a state-of-the-art underfloor heating system and furnished to a high standard by an interior decorator. POINT BREAK has a spacious upstairs open plan living area and balcony and 2 downstairs bedrooms, with access to decking outside. The property can sleep up to 5 people (5 people in bedrooms) Saunton is famous for its 3 miles of golden sand, surfing, kite surfing and windsurfing. Nearby are Braunton Burrows, where one can walk for hours through majestic dunes, and Croyde and Putsborough are just around the corner. POINT BREAK is the perfect holiday home for families, friends, couples and weekend getaways.
LIVING AREAS
From the entrance hall step into the open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area, with solid wood flooring throughout. This large living space is separated into 3 clear areas with floor to ceiling windows at the far end, with panoramic views. The lounge The property has a 3 seater sofa and a 2 seater sofa bed which can informally sleep two people on request. Furnishings are tasteful and stylish but very comfortable. A unit holds the large flat-screen TV, with DVD player and SKY package,. Spoil yourself with underfloor heating during winter and cooler summer evenings. Between the kitchen and lounge is the dining area, with a white dining table and matching white chairs. A welcome basket awaits your arrival for full week bookings.
KITCHEN
You will have full use of a well-equipped modern kitchen, with white cupboards and black work surfaces. Appliances include a tall fridge/freezer, oven, touch-activated hob, matching cream toaster and kettle, washer/dryer, built-in microwave, and all other essential kitchen utensils. There is a Nespresso Essenza Mini coffee machine.
BEDROOMS
Head down the stairs and there are 2 luxuriously appointed bedrooms. The master bedroom is furnished with a super king-size bed, quality duvet, mirrored bedside cabinets, reading lamps and a large built-in wardrobe. Complimentary Bath robes (available on request) and bath towels are thoughtfully provided. This room has a large en-suite shower room. A door leads out to the private decking area, with those fantastic sea views. Bedroom is furnished with twin beds as well as a single trundle bed that can be pulled out from under one of the twins. The twin beds can be joined up to form a king-sized bed on request. A built in storage cupboard with clothes rail is ideal for storing clothes and luggage. This room also has its own door leading out onto the private decking area.
BATHROOMS
A cloakroom can be found on the left hand side as you enter POINT BREAK, containing a WC and basin. The downstairs family bathroom is large with a bath and shower overhead as well as a WC, mirror and basin. Bath towels and bath robes are provided on arrival.
The master bedroom has an en-suite with WC, sink, towel rail and large mirror above.
OUTDOORS
Step from the lounge area onto the decked balcony, with breathtaking views over the ocean. A table and 4 chairs are provided for relaxing in the sunshine, watching the sun set, or for al fresco dining. The balcony walls are made of glass, so your view is never obstructed, and the views are stunning at any time of the year, in all types of weather. From the balcony take the stairs down to another private decked area, with 2 sun-loungers. There is a shared lawn in front of the apartments, with easy access to the footpath that leads all the way down to the beach. Exit the apartment and climb one flight of stairs to a special wet room/locker room, with your own private lockable cubicle for wetsuits etc , with access to an outdoor heated shower and washing facilities. This is a really handy room to have after coming inside after a long surf, or after a day on the beach. (Locker room temporarily unavailable for guests)
There is only one guaranteed parking space. There are four additional visitors spaces, but these are first come, first serve, so no guaranteed parking.

“Lots of stairs”
No 5 Ocean Point. Lovely apartment with great views’ 33 stairs down to apartment from car park ( and up of course) 13 down to bedrooms! No lift!

“Stunning!”
Stayed at this apartment with my husband, 2 teenagers and 2 dogs for October half term. Point Break is one of 16 apartments - only 2 years old I believe - and absolutely stunning. Very modern decor with added benefits of free wi-fi and sky TV - which is useful for when it rains (as it often does in Devon!). A welcome pack was provided which included a bottle of champagne, strawberries, clotted cream and scones, sweets for the kids and treats for the dogs - a very nice touch. The apartment was very dog friendly - the balcony had a gate so dogs could not escape. Just a few minutes walk down to Saunton Sands which was fantastic for dog walking. The apartment also has its own locker room which has a selection of wet suits and body boards which came in handy and lots of fun was had in the sea, even in the rain. The only negative - and it is very minor - was that there was no instruction manuals for kitchen appliances - in particular the halogen hob which we have not used before and it took a bit of trial and error to get it to work, which we did, but don't know how! Saunton Sands Hotel just a couple of minutes walk away which was nice to go to for a drink or meal in the evening, but very expensive. We would definately return to this lovely apartment.
