This well-presented, single-storey cottage near Shaftesbury sleeps four people in two bedrooms.Corner Cottage is a welcoming, well-presented barn conversion cottage set in a rural location, 2.5 miles from Shaftesbury. With accommodation across the ground floor, there are two bedrooms; one a king-size double with en-suite bathroom and the other a twin, meaning four people can enjoy a comfortable holiday here. There's also a family bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside, there is off road parking for two cars plus a shared lawned area to the front with furniture and charcoal BBQ. Corner Cottage is a well-presented holiday home, offering a wonderful touring base for discovering this delightful area. Please note: This property only accepts Friday and Monday check in.
Amenities: Oil central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, TV with Freeview, WiFi. Washer/dryer. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Shared front lawned area with furniture, charcoal BBQ and childrens play area. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile. Note: Pets must be kept on a lead at all times when in shared grounds. Note: we do not accept the following breeds of dogs: Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Huskies, Staffordshire bull terriers, Dobermans, Boxers, Bullmastiff or Akita. Note: There are 2 x 120 KW fast charges that have been installed within a 7 minute walk of Whitebridge Farm; they can be found on the grounds of the award winning deli Compton Macrae and you can enjoy a leisurely coffee or lunch whilst your car is charging Please note: This property only accepts Friday and Monday check in.
Region: Explore the fossils and stunning beaches of Dorsets Jurassic Coast, visit historic Sherborne and Shaftesbury, or enjoy the footpaths, country lanes and thatched-roof pubs Dorset offers.
Town: One of Dorsets prettiest and most historic towns, Shaftesbury is perched on a spur of rolling green hills, and the views in all directions are without comparison. Lush green meadows, woodland glades, outstanding architecture and all within walking distance. One of the best vantage points is from Gold Hill (the famous Hovis advert was filmed here) with its quaint, cobbled and very steep street.
