Description

“Shells” is superbly situated just off Sidmouth seafront and a minute’s easy walk to the town centre and restaurants. It is a well-presented double-bed apartment. The apartment offers a spacious separate lounge with TV, a small dining table and two chairs and a private balcony with additional seating for outdoor dining.

The apartment offers a separate, fully-equipped kitchen with hopefully everything you will need for your stay; an electric cooker, washing machine, large built-in fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, and a small breakfast table and two chairs.

The separate bedroom provides you with a very comfortable double bed with 100% cotton bed linen made up on the bed, ready for your stay. We also provide quality towels for your comfort. Summer or winter duvets are provided to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.

There is a modern shower room with electric shower, WC, washbasin and heated towel rail.

Minimum stay is 3 nights during off-peak seasons. The maximum stay for all UK Holiday-Lets is 30 days.

Regrettably, we believe this apartment is not suitable for children because of the balcony. There is a key to the patio door leading out onto the balcony if you chose to keep this door locked and remove the key but our recommendation is not to accept bookings with toddlers/older children.

For the comfort of other guests, regrettably, we cannot accept smokers or pets.

Free on-site parking is available in an allocated space within the secure gated car park at Western Court. Please note: the space is a tight corner spot and may not suit larger cars or people with mobility issues that require space to exit and enter their car. We, therefore, offer free use of a car parking permit for Manor Road Long Stay car park (approx 600 metres) as an alternative but please provide your car registration details in advance.

There is a height restriction on entry to the car park, therefore, not suitable for large vans or cars with roof boxes.

A lift is available that requires the manual closing of two doors to operate it, some might call them "heavy"doors.

If you have issues with access or mobility from your car or may struggle to operate the manual sliding lift doors and cannot use the stairs, please let us know as this may not be a suitable booking for you.

Getting around

As the apartment is so centrally located, just a minute's walk to the seafront, if that, and close to the shops, restaurants and bars, you won't need a car to get around Sidmouth. Walking away from the seafront (another minute in a different direction) is a small bus station with buses taking you to Exeter, Exmouth and routes to Lyme Regis if you fancy days out. You couldn't be more ideally situated.
