Description
Welcome to Spindrift Cottage our lovely self catering holiday cottage on the Solway Coast, one mile from Silloth, ten minutes walk across the road and down the path through fields to the beach. Spindrift is perfect for a relaxing break exploring Cumbria and the North Lake District.
The cottage is very well equipped and sleeps up to three, the main bedroom is downstairs, with a double bedroom in the attic accessible from main bedroom. We do accept one small well behaved dog. In front of the cottage there is a small enclosed garden and seating area. Across the road is a lane and path to the beach or into Silloth centre, and to the rear further footpaths accross the fields.
Spindrift Cottage is in Blitterlees a hamlet beside the Victorian resort of Silloth, parallel to the golf course, adjacent to the sand dunes and beach, one mile from Silloth town centre with it's local shops, restaurants and pubs etc.

“Lovely quiet holiday cottage”
Spindrift cottage in Biterlees, near Silloth is a lovely cottage in a quiet location but near to all amenities in Silloth, it's ideally situated to stay local with lively walks or venture further afield to the Lake District or Scotland, we did both, near to the beach and sand dunes where the dog had fun in the sand dunes, a beautiful garden to sit in and catch the last of the evening sun, we will definitely be going back

“Cosy cottage”
The cottage was well positioned to get to local attractions and the beach. Allenby and Wigton were nice places to visit. Silloth was a lovely place and the locals were very welcoming. The Golf Hotel served great food at reasonable prices and the staff were very helpful recommending Christinea local taxi driver who picked us up on New Years eve and only charged us £4.00 to take us back to the cottage. We had a very restful 4 days away.

“SUPERB!”
Needed a quiet break to restore the batteries and this place did it all. Beautiful cottage and credit to its owners. Warm, homely and very very relaxing. Totally met expectations as shown on the booking site and the walk to the beach was sublime with our 4 legged friend loving every minute of it. If you want a break in a "true" cottage in wonderful surroundings this is for you. Easy to get everywhere from walking to the beach, walking into town and driving short distances to get to the Lakes themselves. WE will be back!

“Cute, cosy and welcoming!”
As soon as we walked in, the cottage welcomed us and we felt relaxed and at home. The owners are friendly and very helpful and we really enjoyed our stay. We already know and love the area, but the lovely, homely cottage enhanced our visit to Silloth.
