This property was home for 2 years so meets my very high standards. Set over 1st & 2nd floors with 5 double bedrooms (ensuite to main, 3 kings, 1 double, 1 small double and single), large family bathroom, kitchen/dining lounge, this property offers magnificent spacious living space for families or groups of friends to enjoy and offers great uninterrupted and unoverlooked views at the front.

Bedrooms are as follows:

Bed 3 (2nd floor): Double - Sleeps 2

KING BEDROOM (5.5m X 4m X 3m high) - to left from first-floor landing top of stairs

Comfortable and spacious; with a large original box bay window and beautiful built-in window seat, great for watching the lovely views over the cricket and rugby matches. With wood effect, Karndean flooring a newly opened up feature brick chimney breast with a new multi-fuel stove creates a beautiful focal point for this amazing bedroom. A large orange leather sofa to relax on and get some peace in your own bedroom and watch the rugby or cricket from our fab window seat in the huge bay window. TV with smart features, NETFLIX, etc.

Kitchen/dining lounge (8m X 4m X 3m high) - straight on from first-floor landing top of stairs.

This has recently been opened up with wood effect Karndean flooring laid to form a great spacious open plan kitchen dining and living space with hob inset into brick chimney breast which has been revealed to form a lovely focal point. This is a great communal and interactive area for socialising, dining, and entertaining.

There is a large solid oak dining table with 2 benches on either side which seats 8 persons and a seat can be put at either end of the table to take seating to 10 persons. Butcher's block provides extra space for food prep.

Ample lounge seating is provided with our huge large Italian white corner leather sofa and a further large brown leather sofa and coffee table with 52" Sony TV with smart features, NETFLIX, etc

The new kitchen has a fully integrated full-size 50:50 fridge freezer, full-size dishwasher (tablets provided), induction hob, oven, and microwave. Well stocked with a good range of pots, pans, slow cooker, juicer, cutlery, cleaning equipment, etc.

A washing machine was installed down the back stairs from the kitchen (on the ground floor utility area) near the back yard door to ensure no unwanted noise

Bedroom 4 - Bright bedroom with small double bed, bedside cab/light, and wardrobe.

2nd floor

Master Bedroom (5m X 3m X 2.5m high) - with large original box bay window and sweeping views over the cricket and rugby club ground. King size bed. Solid wood large chest, of drawers, storage chest (with spare blankets, towels, and bedding) and wardrobe. 2000w hair drier provided.

Ensuite (1m X 2.2m X 2.5m high) - from the master bedroom.

New designer suite installed. With mains-powered shower in an enclosure, inline extractor fan, wall hung WC, and wash hand basin.

Main Bathroom (4m X 3m X 2.5m high) - Very spacious family bathroom with newly installed separate open walk-in shower, large freestanding bath to relax in, designer column and towel radiator, wall hung WC and wash hand basin. Please feel free to use the candles provided to create a nice atmosphere to relax and bathe with. Attractive tiling with subtle LED mood lighting along accessories elevation and bath/shower recesses where toiletries can be laid.

Bedroom 2 (4m X 3.5m X 2.5m high) - King size bed. Solid wood wardrobe.

Bedroom 3 - (5m X 2.5m X 2.5m high) - Double bed and mirrored sliding wardrobe. Iron and ironing board provided in the wardrobe.

There is ample on-street parking right in front of the house.

IMPORTANT NOTE: STRICTLY 8 ADULTS MAXIMUM - this is to rule out bookings from large non-family groups (folks coming to the area to party!).

It is a 5 minutes walk to both the local South Tyneside College and Chichester metro station with direct trains to South Shields, Newcastle city centre and Newcastle Airport. There is a good bus service from Dean Road (a 2-3 minutes walk) to the beautiful South Shields sea front/coast and to Sunderland/Newcastle city centres. NOTE: The price shown on the initial search results is for the minimum number of guests. As other properties we charge more for extra guests above the base level. Sub total = refundable deposit plus nightly/extra guest fees. IMPORTANT NOTE: STRICTLY 8 ADULTS MAXIMUM - STRICT NO PARTY POLICY. I have had to physically remove guests, with police. The seafront is approximately a 20 minute walk away.

Most of our great guests so far (although we have a few for future dates) were for specific trips to South Shields visiting friends and family so we are pleased to hear that you found the location ideal for your requirements (being in Newcastle city centre for 2 days for the Magic Weekend) with the metro station only being a few minutes walk away then only 20 minutes direct into Newcastle city centre. I am delighted to hear that the apartment was large enough for 5 single persons (and that you would return with families in future) and that the facilities were sufficient; our ensuite helps larger groups when getting ready to go out!
