Description
This detached barn conversion offers comfortable accommodation in an area ideal for walkers, cyclists and those who just want to take it easy. The cottage is furnished & decorated to a high standard & incorporates many original features including exposed beams & stone walls. The sitting room is well equipped with guidebooks of the local area as well as novels, DVDs and games & has a balcony affording views over the Amber Valley.
Cook a meal in the well equipped kitchen or venture out to sample a variety of cuisines in numerous local pubs & restaurants.
Wingfield Manor is a gentle 5 minute walk from the cottage and there is easy access to a wide range of other walks. Numerous local attractions are within easy reach by car or even bike.
The cottage is situated in an area famous for its wonderful scenery and country walks & with the Peak District close by, moorland countryside, picturesque villages, grand gardens and magnificent landscapes can all be enjoyed.

The cottage is not ideal for toddlers as it is on several levels but is perfect for babies or older children for whom stairs are no longer a hazard. No dogs.No Smoking

Bedroom 1- A spacious double room with a King-size bed complete with Sealy Posturepedic mattress, a wardrobe & a chest of drawers providing ample storage space.Bedroom 2 - This bedroom can be set up with either 2 single beds or as a king-size bed depending on your requirements. A perfect second bedroom complete with wardrobe and drawer storage. Kitchen- The kitchen is very well equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer,dishwasher, fridge, freezer, gas hob and electric cooker, microwave, toaster etc. It has a table that comfortably seats four - perfect for breakfast before you head out for the day or for a leisurely evening meal.Lounge - With beautiful views over the valley, the lounge is the perfect place to spend a relaxing evening or wile away a wet afternoon. There are two large sofas, a flat screen TV with DVD player and a selection of DVDs,books, puzzles & games that are free to borrow during your visit. The log effect stove makes sure it is always cosy and warm whatever the weather outside!Bathroom- This features a modern bathroom suite and includes a bath with an upright shower as well as a toilet and basin. Hall- There is ample space for wet coats, muddy boots, brollies and hats in the dedicated hall storage area.

Garden- Guests at the cottage may make use of the lower garden that belongs to the adjacent farmhouse. It is the perfect spot for a pre-dinner drink as the sun goes down or even an al fresco dinner in summer. Barbecue facilities can be provided on request.

“Cosy Cottage”
This cottage has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. It is beautifully furnished with a lovely view over the Amber Valley The owners live next door and are very helpful, if required. The kitchen has everything for those who want to cook meals and there is a kitchen table in there, with a big electric log fire that gives off a smoke effect. Lovely in October to sit around to have your breakfast. All those small things you may have forgot...you'll find them provided for you. This is a real home from home holiday cottage.
