Pea Cottage is a romantic retreat made for two. This imaginatively designed luxury self-contained cottage near Stamford is a dreamy nest for lovebirds looking for a romantic break. a Cottage has been a barn conversion where every aspect has been planned in the smallest detail. This includes antique door fittings, a plentiful supply of seasoned logs for the wood burner, an Everhot range, period lighting and Bakelite switches, to list just a few.

Fortunately the property is located within a short distance of the best gastro pub in the whole area. called The White Hart in Ufford. It is a 20 minute walk, 6 minute cycle or 3 minute car journey. If you like the idea, we can lend you our tandem (helmets, lights and lock included) so you arrive in real style. Delicious food and a good selection of local ales.

Stamford is one of the most picturesk market towns in the country and home of Burghley House. The grand 16th-century country house is a sight-seeing must. Its park was laid out by Capability Brown & deer are free to roam. Entry & parking to the grounds is free. It’s the perfect backdrop for a romantic picnic.

“A Beautiful barn conversion”

Booked Pea Cottage for couple of days away from the kids and hustle and bustle to celebrate an anniversary and birthday. It didn’t disappoint ! The place itself is beautiful with oak beams and period features set in a lovely quiet location a stones throw for Stamford. The cottage has everything thing you’d need underfloor heating, power shower and slipper bath, aga and a big comfy bed along with well thought out lighting which gives a real romantic feel when the sun goes down. To sum it up, would we stay there again? yes ! Most definitely, we had a lovely time. Thank you Andrew and Janet.
