This detached farmhouse is close to the village of Eastgate and can sleep twelve people in six bedrooms.Horsley Head Holidays is a detached farmhouse close to the village of Eastgate and just three miles from Stanhope. The farmhouse sleeps twelve people and has one super king-size double bedroom with en-suite shower, one king-size double with en-suite walk-in shower, two super king-size double with en-suite walk-in shower and one ground floor king-size double with en-suite bath, and a ground floor cloakroom. There is also an adjoining barn with a super king-size double bedroom with an en-suite above a games room. Also in the cottage are a fitted kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburner. Outside is ample off road parking and a front enclosed garden with furniture. Situated in Weardale, Horsley Head Holidays is a spacious family home, ideal for exploring this fabulous part of the country.

Amenities: Oil central heating with woodburner. Oil-fired Rayburn range, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, selection of books and games. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Bike storage. Front enclosed lawned garden with furniture and summerhouse. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 3 miles, pub 1.5 miles. Note: The first floor king-size double bedroom in the main house is the only that doesn't have zip/link beds.

Town: Eastgate is a small village in Weardale, popular for walking and cycling. The village once marked the eastern boundary of Stanhope Park, the scene of many grand and historical hunting expeditions. The village is also famed for being the birthplace of Emerson Bainbridge, founder of the worlds first department store. Eastgate is set in rural countryside and is home to a pub and the delightful Horsley Hall which provides fine dining and afternoon tea. Further amenities can also be found in the village of Stanhope located just three miles away.
