Description from owner
Description
Peacefully situated, on the fringe of a tiny village, The Hamlet is brimming with character and comfort. It has proved a great favourite for reunions of friends and families. It offers bags of space, in a popular, central location and is only a few minutes from both Stratford and the Cotswolds. It is popular with couples too since it is possible to live entirely on the ground floor ,and, for such a spacious property, out of season rates are very reasonable. The cottage sleeps 7 comfortably but please note that the double ( twin ) bedroom is accessed through the single.
Winter visitors love the huge inglenook fireplace and a log fire brings the room to life like nothing else can.
Road and rail links are very good and footpaths radiate from the cottage towards the delightful small town of Bidford on Avon, along the river and into lovely the Worcestershire countryside.
Some guests chill out , live a local life, walk, read, cycle or even fish in the river whilst others explore local towns and countryside or travel further afield to Oxford or Cheltenham. Many visitors stay here whilst visiting or exhibiting at The National Exhibition Centre easily reached via the A46.
Children love Birmingham's Cadbury's World and the legendary Warwick Castle though most parents generally seem less enthusiastic! However the beautiful, peaceful gardens are always a hit with both!

“1 The Hamlet Stratford Upon Avon”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This charming cottage was very well equipped and is a perfect rural retreat in which to relax . Great local information for eating out etc provided by our host who is most solicitous. A real home from home atmosphere. We hope to return.
