EXTENDED FAMILY? This is Ideal for your large gathering of the generations. You are in 5 star Gold Award luxury in peaceful and beautiful Cotswold countryside but with easy access to lots of interesting places to visit. Doughton Barn has enclosed south gardens and on the farm there are short or longer walks with ducks to feed and wildlife to observe.
-BIG BIRTHDAY coming up? there's room for the extended family here...and if its too many to cook for, you can always hire our LOCAL CHEF for the night. but Tripadvisor only allows me to send you their contact details when you have paid the balance.
The living areas are huge and the table seats 20.
Winter or summer, there's masses to do in this area; stay in by the 2 log fires or bbq in the gardens after walks on the farm

“Best ever birthday/wedding venue”
Such a beautiful ‘Barn’ very well furnished and equipped for small parties and for our wedding party of 16. Lovely welcoming helpful owners .

“Versatile Barn Conversion for large groups”
This is a delightful single storey property in barn conversion style. Retaining some original features the modernity of the catering facilities, bedroom en-suites and the underfloor heating make it extremely comfortable for the larger group of holiday makers. Located about 1.5 miles away from picturesque and historic Tetbury, some local architecture and excellent cuisine isn’t far away. There isn’t much in the way of local transport and so groups may want to have the flexibility of cars for their journeys. We throughly enjoyed being able to house a large group of friends, eat both out and in, light a fire, imbibe and enjoy the craic.

“Family Holidays”
Beautiful Clean Large Cottage . Greeted by the owner with a tasty cake on arrival. Perfect location to visit surrounding areas Bath,Bristol, Tetbury, Weston Super Mare. All 16 of our party aged 6 to 80 and 4 dogs enjoyed their stay immensely.

“Wonderful weekend”
We had a wonderful family reunion at Doughton in the 2 adjoining barns with 16 people from England & America & 3 dogs plus a few local relatives coming during the day. 2 well equipped kitchens & spacious bedrooms. We had a plumbing problem but Sue, the owner, came and attended to it promptly. We would highly recommend for every age range. The welcome cakes were a hit too. Thank you Sue!

“Perfect special occasion venue”
Converted building that operates as two self contained units but interconnects for large parties. We were 12 (4 children 8 adults) for a significant birthday celebration and it worked perfectly. Place was well appointed and immaculate. Two sitting rooms with tvs allowing everyone space. Location was quiet and a 1/2 hour stroll into Tetbury. Recommend Royal Oak upstairs room for private lunch/dinners Owner left the lightest sponge cake you will ever have for our arrival!
