Description

Crescent Cottage is a grade II listed cottage in the heart of Tewkesbury, moments walk from the Abbey and the shops and restaurants of the town.

The 3 bedroom property has been fully refurbished to a very high standard and furnished with antiques throughout. Outside is a south facing roof terrace with views of the Abbey. A gas BBQ (cheating but easier!!) and garden furniture are provided.

To make life easier we have provided the basics for your holiday, such as shower gel, cotton wool and soap in the bathrooms, and dishwasher tablets, cleaning products and tea/coffee etc in the kitchen.

We also provide a welcome pack with milk, butter, bread and eggs.

The property consists of a cosy beamed lounge with wood burning stove and seating for 8. The part panelled dining room has a beautiful mahogany dining table which can easily accommodate 8, and the country kitchen has wooden work tops, dishwasher, oven,hob and microwave, as well as a full range of crockery and baking equipment. Off the kitchen is a snug with a sofa bed, TV, DVD and video. There is also a downstairs bathroom with bath and shower, and washing machine and tumble drier.

Upstairs consists of two double rooms on the first floor, all decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Digital LCD TVs and hair driers are provided in each room. Towelling robes and slippers are provided for each guest.

The top floor has a twin room, which can be made into a king if required, and a further bathroom with double end bath and shower.

Children's Facilities

To make life easier with children we've a selection of baby equipment available including a cot, high chair, stair gates, bed side to stop little ones rolling out and a selection of children's plates, cups, bowls and cutlery.

“Dog friendly property”

Alex was fantastic at communication, and very flexible with changing Coronavirus guidance. The property was really well equipped, you really don’t need to take anything with you except food! On arrival gin and tonic was very welcome! The outdoor space was invaluable, and we enjoyed our breakfast and teas out there. Tewkesbury is a lovely town, plenty to see and do nearby. There is a car park nearby where you can park your car, free after 5:30pm and on sundays, we didn’t struggle to get a space. The only downside for me is that the condition of the property was reflective of the fact you could take dogs to stay.

“Beautiful cottage in perfect location”

A roomy and well maintained cottage with ample space for 8 guests. Cosy lounge, family dining room, well equipped kitchen and a useful snug with it's own en-suite - ideal for kids to chill out in. One bedroom has a garden terrace which would be lovely in warmer weather. The property is right in the heart of town so very little walking even for elderly guests and other towns and villages are all close by in a car. Highly recommended.
