Description

The Granary is a welcoming detached two-storey country cottage, sleeping 4 people (+ cot), set in the beautiful East Devon countryside, only 15 minutes' drive from the M5 (J27). Guests have the shared use of a large, warm, indoor swimming pool (33 ft), sauna, fitness room, children's play areas, 12 ft trampoline, laundry facilities, enclosed pond area with ducks and friendly chickens and two acres of grounds.

Upstairs in the cottage, there are two attractive bedrooms (one double and one twin) and on the ground floor is the bathroom, a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridge and separate freezer and the lounge area with flat screen television, DVD player and free WiFi Internet access. The cottage has a log burner, a treat for cosy evenings in, as well as oil fired central heating. The Granary has its own enclosed patio area, which is perfect for enjoying a drink as the sun sets, as well as its own private parking area. Stair gates are fitted and cots and highchairs are available on request (no extra charge).

We are pet-friendly and welcome well behaved dogs, for which there is a surcharge of £20 per dog per week.

“Excellent family holiday”

The cottage was very warm and cosy and had excellent facilities! The hosts Jonathan and Lynn were very warm, welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We definitely plan to go back. Would highly recommend.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
