“Want for nothing -- and I mean nothing!” From the incredibly spacious and luxurious suites to the world class swimming pool to the on-site massage therapy sanctuaries to the full on-site gym with sauna, steam and soaking tub to the Epicurean theater to the on-site fruit, vegetable and herb garden to the meeting facilities and beyond -- all served up astride one of the most amazing views on St. John -- it's not only possible to spend several weeks here without the need to leave the grounds, it's actually desirable. “Perfect Stay at Sapphire Bay” We just returned from the most fabulous week in St Thomas at the Sapphire Beach condo. The condo location could not be more perfect. Just steps to the beach with the most serine views of the island. It is a quick 2 min drive to Red Hook harbor for great restaurants, bars, grocery store and ferry to BVI or St John. The owners were so accommodating bringing in a full size crib, high chair and pack and play for my 1 YO. The house keeper Norma gave us a complete run down of the area, where to eat and what to do during our stay. Being a family with 2 kids, this was the perfect stay for us. Full kitchen in the unit, washer and dryer, satellite TV, games and movies for the kids--and the convenience of going back and forth between the beach and home when needed. The island was nothing but beautiful and after visiting many beaches on the island, this was by far the best. If you don’t snorkel, you will start on this trip. The water is so calm and clear with amazing fish, turtles and coral. Plus gear is provided at the condo! A trip to the Mountain Top for a banana daiquiri is a must. For dinner, Fish Tails had the freshest seafood and best sushi around. For Caribbean fare, don’t skip Cuzzin's and Glady's in Charlotte Amalie-- absolutely delicious! We cannot wait to return to paradise-- maybe next time without the kiddos!

“Can't wait to go back!” We loved Villa Mar de amores from the moment we got there. Amazing views, great vibes, lovely decorations, high ceilings, comfy beds, great kitchen, just perfect. It's even nicer than the pictures. We all started smiling when we climbed to the top of the hill in our Jeep. Perfect amount of space for the five of us. Could sit on that deck any time of day and be totally entranced. The owner is great, and the on island managers were also great. We booked the house again for next year before we left!

“A DREAM COME TRUE” My stay at the Taj was one of the most memorable vacations.Given the areas relaxed atmosphere,waking up each morning to the blue sea,watching ships go by,followed by a swim on the beach.ST.Thomas with its unique culture was very inviting as I enjoyed the music and dance performances down town each thursday.Restaurants provided meals not to be forgotten served by some of the friendliest people I have come across. Back at the Taj,some evenings were spent dinning outside taking in beautiful sunsets .Outside of St.Thomas I ventured to St.Johns and St.Croix places that added to my appreciation of the Virgin islands as a destination to enjoy the simple and yet important aspects of life.

“Re-impressed” I spent time at Great Expectations for one month, each, in 2010 and 2011 with family and friends. We had an amazing time. Its really a beautiful property, and its true, everything you need, they supply. in 2013 we tried a new place on a different island. What a mistake. the place did not live up to its on line review or pics. This year we went back to G E and were even more pleased (which none of us thought was possible)! The new pool is amazing. Infinity in style, large, with amazing views. Can't wait for next year!

“Magical Vacation” Thank You Gail & Curlson for allowing us to rent from you. The instant we got to your place, we felt like we were "home". The location of your property is perfect, a short drive to Red Hook and close to some gorgeous beaches. The villa included many "little" amenities such as beach towels, paper goods, hairdryers, that really made my packing job much easier! The kids had the best time swimming in the pool & hot tub and ask daily when we can go back! I think even breakfast tasted better because we were able to eat it every morning on the patio overlooking St. John and Sapphire Beach. Whenever we had a concern or question, you were a quick phone call or email away. And the place looked exactly as it does in your pictures. This was one of the best vacations our family has ever taken. Thank you from the bottom of my heart - Take Care!

“Fabulous St. John Get away!” My husband, 16 year old daughter, her friend, and myself vacationed at Villa Catalina from June 5-June 12, 2012. From being met at the ferry dock, Myrtle took care of every need we had. The home was incredible and very comfortable for our stay. The kitchen is well stocked, the bedrooms very comfortable, and the beach towels, chairs, and ice chest are a definite plus! Villa Catalina is just minutes from Cruz Bay and very convenient to beaches, restaurants, shops, etc. The deck and pool area are great in the mornings and evenings, and the grill was a must have as we cooked plenty meals out in the evenings. There was a grocery on our way back in to the villa which had a great meat selection as well as wines. The thing I think I would say i liked least is the third bedroom being accessed from outside and down stairs. Though this was not a problem for the 4 of us it was just a little inconvenient. What we loved most was the peace and quiet of the area, the great breezes blowing across the decks in the evenings. This was a wonderful place to stay and we cant wait to return. A definite slice of heaven!
