“Magical Vacation” Thank You Gail & Curlson for allowing us to rent from you. The instant we got to your place, we felt like we were "home". The location of your property is perfect, a short drive to Red Hook and close to some gorgeous beaches. The villa included many "little" amenities such as beach towels, paper goods, hairdryers, that really made my packing job much easier! The kids had the best time swimming in the pool & hot tub and ask daily when we can go back! I think even breakfast tasted better because we were able to eat it every morning on the patio overlooking St. John and Sapphire Beach. Whenever we had a concern or question, you were a quick phone call or email away. And the place looked exactly as it does in your pictures. This was one of the best vacations our family has ever taken. Thank you from the bottom of my heart - Take Care!

“Want for nothing -- and I mean nothing!” From the incredibly spacious and luxurious suites to the world class swimming pool to the on-site massage therapy sanctuaries to the full on-site gym with sauna, steam and soaking tub to the Epicurean theater to the on-site fruit, vegetable and herb garden to the meeting facilities and beyond -- all served up astride one of the most amazing views on St. John -- it's not only possible to spend several weeks here without the need to leave the grounds, it's actually desirable. Still, see the parks and head downtown for some amazing cuisine just to round out the stay. And enjoy one of the best support staffs on the island. Well done, all!

“Re-impressed” I spent time at Great Expectations for one month, each, in 2010 and 2011 with family and friends. We had an amazing time. Its really a beautiful property, and its true, everything you need, they supply. in 2013 we tried a new place on a different island. What a mistake. the place did not live up to its on line review or pics. This year we went back to G E and were even more pleased (which none of us thought was possible)! The new pool is amazing. Infinity in style, large, with amazing views. Can't wait for next year!

“Can't wait to go back!” We loved Villa Mar de amores from the moment we got there. Amazing views, great vibes, lovely decorations, high ceilings, comfy beds, great kitchen, just perfect. It's even nicer than the pictures. We all started smiling when we climbed to the top of the hill in our Jeep. Perfect amount of space for the five of us. Could sit on that deck any time of day and be totally entranced. The owner is great, and the on island managers were also great. We booked the house again for next year before we left!

“Fabulous St. John Get away!” My husband, 16 year old daughter, her friend, and myself vacationed at Villa Catalina from June 5-June 12, 2012. From being met at the ferry dock, Myrtle took care of every need we had. The home was incredible and very comfortable for our stay. The kitchen is well stocked, the bedrooms very comfortable, and the beach towels, chairs, and ice chest are a definite plus! Villa Catalina is just minutes from Cruz Bay and very convenient to beaches, restaurants, shops, etc. The deck and pool area are great in the mornings and evenings, and the grill was a must have as we cooked plenty meals out in the evenings. There was a grocery on our way back in to the villa which had a great meat selection as well as wines. The thing I think I would say i liked least is the third bedroom being accessed from outside and down stairs. Though this was not a problem for the 4 of us it was just a little inconvenient. What we loved most was the peace and quiet of the area, the great breezes blowing across the decks in the evenings. This was a wonderful place to stay and we cant wait to return. A definite slice of heaven!

“Best Place On Earth!!” Where do I begin... My husband and I were on our honeymoon. Dana and Jason were the best hosts-they gave you privacy, but if you need assistance they were always there to help. They made us feel at home in the HarmonySuite with happy smiles and open arms. We were given breakfast every morning-tastes of the Island foods- DELICIOUS ; ) It was amazing to see the iguanas that would come up to the deck to visit. The rooms were well-kept and well-stocked Dana and Jason have everything at your hands. The pictures don't lie the VIEWS were phenomenal-(I think I have a billion pictures of just the view) It was awesome to wake up and come home every day to the spectacular views. The pool/cabana and hot tub were extra touches to this fantastic getaway and are exclusively for your enjoyment . The people on the island are the best so sweet, helpful, and genuine-always great to be around, the beaches are jaw dropping we never wanted to get out- recommending COKI BEACH/ MAGENS BAY and night life was amazing recommending DUFFY'S LOVE SHACK/ SENOR FROGS (RED HOOK) all of this plus much more all located about 6-8 minutes away (car recommended). “very nice” We had a great time at island rider with our family. The house is very clean and modern, and the views are spectacular. The only issue I would say is the air conditioning. In the master bedroom it doesn't get much cooler then the mid 70's which makes it hard to sleep, I was there 2 years prior and it was the same issue. Also the main living area has no ac which wasn't horrible because we went in the winter, but I can not imagine what it would be like once the weather gets warmer. Once you start cooking and people are in there- the ocean breeze does very little to cool it down. One other issue was the water in the showers it was luke warm at best and would not get any hotter. I give it 4 stars- if they worked out these issues- especially the aC it would be 5 stars, but having to deal with the heat indoors takes away the 5th star which is reserved for those properties that don't try to save money on air conditioning. Overall- it is a great place and very beautiful- the management company is very accommodating and they keep the house very well.

“View to die for” Exceeded all of our expectations. We couldn't be critical of one thing. When we return to St J, this will be our home once again.

“Fantabulous!!!” Catered To Vacations was very helpful during the planning stages of our "all girl vacation"!They kept us informed,answered all our many questions, and sent us great information about St John. They handled our rental car and upon arrival Michele met us as promised and guided us to our Villa.I will definately use their services again! We'll be back! Sunset Beach Villa lives up to it's name, the sunsets were beautiful!We loved our villa especially the pool area.The views were great and you could snorkle and swim as long as you had good water shoes!Watch the Bose sound system it is easy to play your music too loud, but a good way to meet your neighbors:)I would rent this Villa again! It is a perfect distance from Cruz Bay!Close enough for taxi service and not a bad drive for rookies! Blue Sky Provision Co. (Shanna Dickerson) did a great job provisioning our villa with food and beverage so we did not have to shop upon arrival. Made for a great birthday party! I would definately rate this whole vacation as wonderful!

“A great place for a rugged tropical adventure.” I did not approve of the service people (landscaping, maid service-multiple times including right before the wedding) showing up and entering the home when they did. It was inappropriate and uncomfortable to come home to people in the house. Then having them stay for an hour or more left me feeling uneasy to leave the house. For the cost of the home there should be absolutely no interuptions unless there is an emergency.

“Awesome family vacation” This was our second visit to Drakes View and we again enjoyed everything the property has to offer...views, a well equpped kitchen, hot tub and ample space for our 3 generations to be together for Thanksgiving week. In spite of an abnormally rainy week, we made the best of our beach time and enjoyed the views from the villa when we were forced inside. We lovedbeing able to stay overlooking Coral Bay,our favorite side of St. Johns. We explored several new beaches and snorkeling apots. Thanks to the Roberts family and their wonderful concierge team of Dorothy and Fernando.

“Fabulous” We love Las Brisas Caribe, and this is our second visit to this fabulous villa. There are three separate wings, so it accommodates a large family or couples comfortably and with privacy. The villa is beautifully decorated and landscaped, with a private pool, and located conveniently to the downtown area and beaches. We especially loved watching the sunset from the Crows Nest every night, with a Pain Killer in hand. We can't wait to go back.

“Thanks giving Wedding at CoCo de mer” My husband and I just got back from a week at CoCo de Mer on St. John. While there, we celebrated our wedding and Thanksgiving! The house and Tommy, the guest contact on the island, were wonderful. The views from the home are sweeping and beautiful. The common areas and bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed. Also, the kitchen is extremely well outfitted. Three minor issues are these: the walk to the private beach is long and difficult, especially for older folks and the pool water was pretty chilly. All in all, we had a wonderful visit and hope to return!
