“Calypso condo stay was paradise!!!” We recently returned from a weeks vacation to St. Croix where we stayed at Calypso Condo C-2 in the gated community of Gentle Winds and had a fabulous time!!! The condo was immaculate upon arrival and Angela, the unit manager, stocked us with some groceries I requested so we didn't have to go out at night when we first arrived. There were six of us and with the three bedrooms, three bathrooms, three balconies and the loft area we did not feel crowded. Barbara, the owner, thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable and a home away from home. The book Life in the Left Lane, the bottle of champagne in the fridge, the starfish necklaces and the gift certificate to the Snack shack were complimentary gifts to us for staying there. It was a vey nice finishing touch by Barbara and very much appreciated. The kitchen was very well-equipped. There were so many books, Wii games, VHS movies, DVDs, and board games for all ages to choose from. It was nice having a grill to cookout on since we don't always like to eat out and as we found out food in St. Croix is expensive. I would definitely come back to St. Croix and stay at Calypso Condo again in a heartbeat !!!! The view was breathtaking, the beach gorgeous and the pool refreshing. The grounds at Gentle Winds were beautifully kept and the people there including the guard, the groundskeepers, and the woman who ran the Snack Shack were very polite. Staying there in early June had its benefits. I truly felt we had the whole place to ourselves. Besides us there were maybe 6 units out of 65 that were occupied at the time. No fighting for chaise lounges at the beach or pool.. A nice perk of the off season. Before leaving for St. Croix Barbara made sure we had directions from the airport to the condo and how to access the lockbox should the unit be locked. She also stressed checking out her website which had extremely helpful tips and suggestions one should know before arriving. I was also impressed that early on in our stay Barbara called and sent me an email checking in with us to see that everything was going well. We did so many fun activities while in St. Croix- stand up paddle boarding , snorkeling, kayaking, relaxing on the beach, shopping in Christiansted, touring the Cruzan Rum Factory, watching the sunset at Off the Wall restaurant while playing bingo and watching the sunrise at Point Udall. Needless to say we were all very sad to leave but have so many fond memories and beautiful pictures.

“House of Dreams” Windspree was great! Weather delays caused us to have to change our trip the night before we arrived and Windspree said no problem and helped us with the new arrangements. They met us on their day off and escorted us personally to the house. What a great experience, we have a great time and the people of St. John are wonderful. What more can I say! If you stay in Casa de Suenos make sure you have a 4 wheel drive the driveway is quite bumpy. Outside of that you will love the privacy and the view is nothing short of amazing. Salt Bay is very close and provides great snorkeling. Don't wait book your trip now you won't regret it, trust me we had a blast. The house comfortably slept eight and had everything we needed for our toddler including a crib. Everything you need for the beach is there as well so feel free to pack lightly. We can't wait to go back!

“excellent architectural wonder great design” upscale wonderful villa extremely well designed for site, architectural wonder, excellent job, in conception and execution from one who studies and values good architecture. only comment, get wireless, since new devices MacBook air and Ipads, et. al, can only connect wirelessly and don't pull in, and wireless routers are the name of the game today, who wants to have to be in only one spot to go on line, it's so cheap anyway had I known I would have brought one

“Amazing Views, Peaceful Stay” This is a wonderful, comfortable home with the most amazing views of Tortola. It was the perfect house for the four of us, and exceeded all of our expectations. We had previously stayed in a nearby home which was more expensive, and this was a better house. The location is great - close to Maho and Cinnamon Bay and also easy to get to Salt Pond. Like others we ate most of our meals at home - it was so peaceful and cool in the house (but we did have great meals at Lucy's for brunch and Skinny Legs). The only two things I would point out is that it only has outdoor showers (though connected to the bathroom, so it's really semi-outdoors). I thought I was going to hate that, but it turned out nice to have great views while showering! Also, the driveway is extremely steep -- steeper than other driveways on the island. We were fine, but don't even think about going up without 4WD. It was wonderful and we hope to return again!

“Just Perfect” This villa is truly extraordinary and it suited our needs just perfect. This house is not for everyone. Its a very private location, but still a short drive to everything Coral Bay has to offer. There are four equal master suites and was ideal for our group of 4 couples. Everyone had enough privacy, yet there is plenty of room to come together as a group, to dine together, hang out by the pool together, etc... The kitchen is super well equipped and we did a lot of cooking and had great meals. The BBQ grill worked great as well. The laundry works great and so did the grill. Bose sound system works well and the TV and Ipod dock were easy to use. The beds were comfy and the outdoor showers were neat. There is a donkey gate at the top of the driveway. Pool and hot tub area are sufficient and the view from this villa is unbelievable. The road to get to this villa is a little tricky but you get used to it and it is a blessing that the last part is paved. We are St John veterans and this by far has been our favorite place to stay. The only negative was that the beach chairs were all in lousy condition and quite rusted and broken.
