"Happy Our" - Island vibe & terrific location, views, rates

Coral Bay house

3 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“Outstanding location for a family vacation!” "Happy Our" is a happy and comfortable home with a colorful island décor and two spectacular views - Coral Bay Harbor and Hurricane Hole. Amazing sunrises are a perfect way to start the day, the changing colors of the Caribbean throughout the day, and moonrises and a sky full of stars in the evening are equally beautiful. The location is great - close to all the great restaurants in Coral Bay and only a few minutes scenic drive in either direction to the most amazing beaches. Loved the snorkeling - turtles, fish, rays, you name it! The house had everything we needed and it is was perfect for our memorable family vacation. Plenty of space for everyone in the "great room" and on the deck, but lots of bedroom privacy too. This house is clean and well maintained and the property manager, Tom, is wonderful. Hated to leave, but we'll be back!

Old World Vacation Villa at Peter Bay. Close to North Shore Beaches.

Virgin Islands National Park villa

4 bedrooms / 5 bathrooms / sleeps 8

“Wish I Could Live There” Amorosa is absolutely magical, heaven on earth. A week just isn't long enough but we packed quite a bit of "living" into our 7-days there. We hit all the expected places (Skinny Legs, Soggy Dollar, Willie Ts, etc.), had an unexpected "Kenny" sighting in Cruz Bay (cruised up on his 62' Sundancer with about a dozen young "models" on the deck). Spent part of a day lounging/swimming on Truck Bay and another on Cinnamon. Soaked up the island food and "don't worry, be happy" flare. But for my wife and I our best times were had right on the villa property, completely relaxed enjoying quality time with our friends and each other. I also re-proposed to my wife of 28 years while there (she got tired of waiting and proposed to me 29 years ago, hopefully I got it right this time).

Beachfront Villa with a Down Island View-Priceless

East End apartment

1 bedroom / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“Well maintained, quality furnished condo with very helpful owner.” We have stayed in several different condos @ Sapphire Beach in several different price ranges. John's is by far the best maintained despite it not being the highest end priced. It also has a great bar/eating area on the lower deck. Renting from John is like renting from a friend or family member. There were no surprises from John other than I had over paid without realizing & he contacted me to let me know he was sending me a check.

CARIBBEAN Beachfront Condo,Georgeous Views, Elysian Beach Resort

East End apartment

2 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“I really cannot imagine any place more enjoyable for us” We recently stayed at Nancy's condos for the first three days of our 10 day stay. All I can say is that I wished we had stayed there the entire time! We headed to a resort and even my 12 and 7 year old boys (who had plenty to keep them busy at the resort) kept saying that they wished we were back at "Nancy's condos." The beach and the water were simply amazing. No having to fight for pool or beach chairs. I was pleasantly surprised at how well appointed the kitchen was with excellent cookware and general supplies with many guests "paying it forward," with items they left. We did the same. There is really nothing negative I can say at all, as evidenced by the fact that we already booked for next year immediately upon arriving home!

BEAUTIFUL Beachfront Condo, Elysian Beach Resort, East End

East End apartment

2 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / sleeps 8

“Perfect location in St. Thomas” I had the pleasure of staying at Nancy's condo along with my wife, our 2 children, and another couple, 6 of us in total. The condo was the perfect size for all of us, and having a kitchen made preparing for excursions (having a nice breakfast, and preparing picnic lunches) a breeze. There is also laundry facilities in the condo, and with the breeze coming off the water we almost never needed to use the AC. The Location on Cowpet bay was very close to the ferry to St. Johns, restaurants, nightlife and shopping. Although Redhook is only about a mile away, it was not easily walkable due to the narrow streets, so you will want to get a taxi to go into town. My daughter loved playing in the pool, there were many other families around so she always had somebody to play with. My wife and I enjoyed walking on the beach, and the restaurant (Caribbean Fish Market) has amazing sea food, and a wonderful ambiance. At night I loved the ability to sit on the patio, listen to the waves and relax before preparing for another exciting day.

Amazing View and White Sand Beach!

East End apartment

1 bedroom / 1 bathroom / sleeps 4

“The Long Term Respite” My husband and I have been staying in #211 for 12 years as a get-away from Northeast winters. It is impossible to tell you in a few words just how much we have treasured this annual event. However, we know that this opportunity renews our spirits and bodies as we enjoy the white sands and aqua waters of Sapphire Beach. However, if you prefer a pool, you have your choice of two on property. The condo is perfect for a short or long term stay with a full kitchen and all the amenities of a home away from home. Furthermore, there is an unforgettable view that encourages daily meals and relaxation on the balcony over looking the marina and the corridor to the Bvi's. If you wish a quick meal and music, Sapphire Grill is just down the stairs. The small hamlet of Red Hook is a mere mile away with shops, restaurants and music easily accessible by a $1 jitney. Enjoy!!!

Spectacular Sunsets & Ocean Views Remodeled Villa

Cruz Bay villa

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“Awesome View” We recently stayed here and it was perfect. The villa was very clean and well maintained. They have everything you need there (beach towels, cooler, chairs, pots, pans, appliances, wifi). There is a/c in both bedrooms and it cools the place off very nice at night. It has a large glass door that opens up to the deck where you have one of the best views of the island. The view is simply breath-taking. Relaxing in the evening on the deck with the view was one of my highlights of the vacation. The property is about 5 minutes from town. Their property management company met us at ferry dock and gave us tour of the town and villa. This is an awesome property and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. I don't have one complaint about this villa. Highly recommended!

6 Bedroom Beachfront Villa St John Chocolate Hole

Cruz Bay villa

6 bedrooms / 8 bathrooms / sleeps 17

“Magical week in the Caribbean” We stayed our first night at the Westin, as Villa St John was unavailable. The Westin resort was quite nice, and we were upgraded to a Suite, but the resort is quite expensive for what you get. We moved on to the Villa on our second day and had a fantastic week laying by the pool, hot tubbing, reading at the beach below the Villa, exploring the many sights and beaches on the island (you must snorkel while you're on island!) and enjoying the many restaurants and bars in town, (the food is marginal unless you're willing to spend a lot, but the rum is inexpensive, so it all evens out on some level!) The Villa was stunning and our bedroom suite was roughly the size of my entire condo in downtown Seattle. The open kitchen and dining areas were perfect for friends to visit from another Villa on island and the aC seemed to keep the temperatures in the late afternoon/early evening in check. All in all, if you have a group traveling to the island, I would highly recommend Villa St John. -Scott L Miller, Seattle, Wa

Calicaribe--hill top villa with views of Caribbean

Cruz Bay house

3 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“Lovely property, very convenient, incredible views” I have been travelling to St. John for many years and Calicaribe is my absolute favorite place to stay. I will sometimes change the dates of my travel so I can stay here. Lovely, well maintained property, tastefully furnished and literally minutes from Cruz Bay and the Marketplace. The house has a wonderful pool for relaxing beside and dipping in after a day at the beach. Very reasonably priced as well. But the major asset of this property in my opinion are the views. Located on a hillside facing west, north/west the view includes Stevens Cay, Grass Cay, Mingo Cay, Two Brothers, Thatch Cay, Hans Lollik, all of Pillsbury Sound and, of course, parts of St. Thomas. Sunsets range from beautiful to truly spectacular. I wish I was there now! Highly recommended.

Sapphire Jewel

East End condo

1 bedroom / 1 bathroom / sleeps 4

“Super comfortable condo, excellent value, owners thought of everything” We stayed at this Sapphire Bay condo this February for a week and it was paradise. It is on THE best beach in the Virgin Islands. Everything about the condo is perfect including the bed, which was so comfortable we wish we had it at home. The owners have provided all the comforts of home. The kitchen is so we'll appointed we were able to cook gourmet meals and have friends over and have dinner parties at the elegant no generous sized dining table. The a ir conditioning worked well. The View from condo was absolutely gorgeous. The location was the best- Close to stores, beach, marina... Everything! This is a great vale (I hope owners don't raise rates reading this because we want to come back next year, but the price makes it an incredible value) 10 stars for this rental

Magens Bay, Pool, Amazing View, New Construction, Exquisite Comfort, Gated

Magens Bay villa

4 bedrooms / 5 bathrooms / sleeps 14

“Beautiful well-equipped home, very relaxing, lots of privacy, st” My husband and I rented Blue Skies for a week's stay with our two college-aged sons during their Spring Break. We were looking for a family bonding week, and this definitely fit the bill! Blue Skies Magen's Bay offered an exotic, gorgeous setting that made their jaws drop! Not your ordinary "been there/done that" vacation. This location makes memories. At Blue Skies, both sons had their own quarters, which they loved. They slept in to their hearts' content while we sipped coffee on the covered porch and watched the iguanas sunning. Everyone enjoyed time reading, laughing, playing cards and trying to navigate around St. Thomas. The grocery service was great, the 2 helpers on the island and Shawna, the homeowner, are extremely helpful. We did get a few more groceries one day, even. We did one outing to Magen's Bay Beach -- just lovely. And another day on St John, snorkeling at Trunk Bay and driving around. Ate dinner out 3 times, quite the adventure. The home is incredibly well-furnished. All the beach/picnic supplies you could want, kitchen utensils galore, good knives, blenders, coffeemakers -- people generously left olive oil, cooking spray, spices, condiments and more. A positive vibe where people had taken care of the place and respected its beauty. The deck has plenty of shade and plenty of sun, the pool is just right for cooling off. The view will leave you breathless! I would recommend this property to friends and family. It was clean and matched the photos and description perfectly.

Waterfront Escape: Paradise at a Great Price!

East End studio

Studio / 1 bathroom / sleeps 4

“Perfect Honeymoon” My husband and I stayed at this property at the end of June/early July for our honeymoon...which ended up being great because St. John was celebrating carnival! We didn't rent a car and had no trouble navigating the island. However, we like to do things "off the beaten path"...I don't think everyone would enjoy the safari buses or "gypsy" taxi drivers, but we really enjoyed both and you can't beat the price. $1 per person go travel to Red Hook?! Billy's list of transportation, activities, etc. was amazing. We went to Coki Beach - interact with locals and snorkeling, St. John - hiking/beautiful beaches/carnival, Red Hook for groceries and restaurants/bars, Charlotte Amalie for shopping/pier/more food (avoid at all costs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays - cruise ships come in these days), Magen's Bay - beautiful and great to relax, Linquist Beach - this one was a little to windy and too much sea grass for me, but my husband enjoyed it. Some of our favorite restaurants were Duffy's (not so much the food, but the atmosphere and bartender were great), XO Bistro (amazing food and cocktails, fine dining atmosphere), Greengos (Mexican cuisine in Charlotte Amalie - fun sitting in the shopping corridors), Tap & Still (great burgers). Latitude 18 was our absolute favorite. Laid back, live music, great food, and friendly locals right on the water. The actual condo was perfect for us because we were out and about except to shower and sleep. I did cook breakfast almost every morning (there was plenty of cooking equipment for this), but we ate at a different beach or restaurant for every other meal. There were plenty of towels (for showers and the beach), bedding, and toiletries. We loved the coolers, so we could save on beverage costs when we went to the beaches. The only confusing part was the transportation around the resort. Initially, we were told we had to pay $40 a day for transportation. We kept calling for golf cart rides to the front gate (where we would catch the safari bus or a taxi)...waiting for them to ask us for payment, but they never did. A couple days into the trip, I met a very friendly resort employee and she said that was absolutely incorrect and the resort employees will take us anywhere on the grounds for no charge. The $40 a day transportation is if you wanted to go anywhere off grounds. Not a big deal, but incase someone else is told they have to pay $40...here you go. Billy was great to work with and his communication couldn't have been better. All-in-all, we can't wait to come back! It was an amazing start to our marriage :)

Relax 4 Us at Bolongo Bay ~ USVI

Charlotte Amalie apartment

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“Excellent property and great destination!” Our stay here was wonderful! We just came back a few weeks ago (Jan 7-14) from our trip and we are ready to book for the next year! We had such a great time: Accommodations - The apartment is very clean and modern. It has nice comfortable beds and lovely décor in every room. The kitchen is stocked with all necessary utensils and appliances. Bathrooms are clean and modern. I loved the cherry wood doors and marble countertops all around. There is a large balcony that you can eat or relax out on. Beach chairs, towels etc. is also provided for you. Beach - you can go downstairs and you are at the Bolongo Bay beach, its lovely, you have all the water sports options that you would find at a typical resort right there. If you walk past the restaurants and the hotel (5 minute walk along the beach), there is a great snorkeling spot past the rocks, very cool! We had a rental car so we also drove (about 15 min) to Smith Bay. This beach is pure heaven! It seems to be mainly visited by locals and is not crowded with perfect white sand and beautiful calm blue waters. Pool - There are a couple of pools that you can use. We used the one by the beach; it had a tap to wash off the sand as well. The pool was nice and clean and the water was pretty warm. Food - Like I mentioned you have everything you need to prepare your food 'at home' if you are on a budget or have specific dietary needs. There are many supermarkets that deliver or you can shop in a warehouse type place (CostUless) or a supermarket (Pueblo) or some local stands that are all around. There are three popular restaurants directly in the Bolongo Bay area so you don't ever have to leave the area if you choose not to: • Iggys - casual burger type place• Mims - fancier place that serves sea food• Lobster Grill - very fancy There is a lot to do on the island and its neighbors, but we have small kids so we took it easy this time and just enjoy the water. Next time we rent this apartment, we will explore the island.

Amazing Ocean views and breezes at incredible villa

Cruz Bay villa

3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“Can't wait to go back!” We loved Villa Mar de amores from the moment we got there. Amazing views, great vibes, lovely decorations, high ceilings, comfy beds, great kitchen, just perfect. It's even nicer than the pictures. We all started smiling when we climbed to the top of the hill in our Jeep. Perfect amount of space for the five of us. Could sit on that deck any time of day and be totally entranced. The owner is great, and the on island managers were also great. We booked the house again for next year before we left!

Beach by kayak or snorkel from your villa! 3 min hike oceanside. Peaceful & fun

Cruz Bay villa

5 bedrooms / 6 bathrooms / sleeps 12

“Great fun on Chocolate Hole Bay” Beachwalk was in an ideal location! We were a pair of couples that we're looking to enjoy the various beaches of St. John. This property was right on a beautiful bay. We kayaked almost everyday. The kitchen was well equipped as we cooked in 5 of the 7 nights. Beds were comfortable and the house view was a postcard. The snorkeling in Chocolate Bay was very good but beware of the numerous sea urchins along the coast. It made for some difficult entries/exits form the bay.
