Description

Salty Holidays is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the fantastic sea views over Ventnor bay. Facing south on a quiet private road, it is a fantastic location, only 50 meters from the beach and walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The apartment is comfortable, bright and is decorated with lovely coastal themes. We have private parking, free fast wifi and laundry for guests to use. Our self catering holiday apartments are situated in the pretty victorian coastal town of Ventnor, which is famous for its mediterranean style microclimate, with many tropical plants and the most sunshine hours in the UK. Its quirky mix of small vintage shops and popular restaurants offer something for everyone. Many of our guests return year after year. The beach is perfect for families in the summer and is empty for dogs to enjoy in the winter. Some of our apartments are dog friendly, so please enquire before booking. Please note Ventnor is very hilly and there are steps to all our apartments so they are not suitable for those with mobility issues.

The south facing balcony is a fantastic spot to relax. There is also a small south facing garden which guests are welcome to use. The apartment It has is own private parking. The property is located only 50 meters from the beach and easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Ventnor.

Getting around

Whilst its great to have a car on the island, the buses are great and there are even open top buses to all the major tourist destinations during the summer. There is also the island train service which runs from Ryde to Shanklin. The train timetable ties in nicely to meet the catamaran and hovercraft. It is also timed with the bus to Ventnor.

Interaction with guest

We use key safes so guests can arrive at their convenience, without worrying about meeting us at set times. Ventnor is our holiday home too, so we are often here at weekends and holidays and always happy to share our top tips but we don't live here. In the event of any problems our fantastic housekeeper and handyman are just at the end of the phone.

How do damage deposits work?

If Dawn (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
