In the Heart of England stands Braunston Mill. Situated in the historic village of Braunston famed for the canals. Braunston village is the point where the Grand Union and Oxford Canals meet. The Mill must be the most photographed building in the area.

An 18th century building with 21st century comforts.makes The Mill a detached contemporary retreat which will sleep 6 in comfort in 3 double bedrooms. Free WiFI.

The Windmill is 6 floors of luxurious living comprising of:

Ground floor Main entrance hall with area set aside as quiet area to read your favourite book.

1st floor This floor is dedicated to a state of the art kitchen comprising of: A stainless steel American fridge freezer, a cooking centre with separate oven, combi microwave oven and a separate steam oven. The huge centre unit contains a 60cm induction hob with extractor. The Porsche designed sink station also houses a full size dishwasher. Also in the kitchen is a large 6 seat table. From here there is also a door which leads via an external stairway down to the private secluded garden.

2nd floor This floor is the huge 21' 4” lounge. This has 2 large italian leather contemporary sofas . Here you can snuggle up and watch your favourite DVD or Satellite programme on the 50" Pioneer Plasma TV. Freeview with integrated Netflix, Or listen to music on the Bose hifi system.

3rd floor On this floor you will find a contemporary bathroom which is equipped with a freestanding bath with an overhead shower . The shower end has a overhead rain shower, a multifunction shower on a riser rail and 6 body jets. The bath is also fitted with a multi point whirlpool system. A Italian designed wc and round washbasin completes the room. Across the hall is the first double bedroom with our hand made fantastic 6'3" ROUND BED with an on-suite shower bathroom. There is a LCD Freeview TV.

4th floor On this floor there is a landing with door to balcony with commanding views across the Warwickshire countryside. Of this landing is a King size double bedroom with views towards the marina and Royal Leamington Spa. TV. The bedroom is fitted with a contemporary ceramic meter long wash basin This floor also has a separate W/C.

5th Floor The top of the world room!!!. This room consists of two levels. Separated by a glass and stainless steel balcony. On the lower level is a new freestanding double ended bath and a ceramic and chrome washbasin. Up a small flight of stairs to the next level is the bedroom area with contemporary 5 ft bed.There is a LCD TV with freeview. The two windows on this level give views across the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire country side for miles.

Private Garden: A totally enclosed private garden to the side of The Mill contains outdoor seating and gas barbecue ready for your use. Also a 6 seater hot tub ready for use at a maintained temperature of 38 degrees. This is available for your sole use for your stay with a small charge of £10 per use up to a maximum charge per stay of £30 to cover the cost of running.

Also Included We also provide bread, milk, butter, tea and coffee's. You will also find eggs and biscuits waiting for you. Dishwashing tablets and kitchen essentials are provided .

In the bathrooms we provide shampoo's, conditioner, , shower gels . A hairdryer is provided .

The property is furnished to a very high standard through out. The special extra touches we include also make your stay more special. These include shower and bath gels, hair shampoo's and conditioners along with the most comprehensive range of essentials for your complete stay. Past visitors describe it as if they have come into our home for the time they were there, they have this was our home!

NO SMOKING WITHIN THE WINDMILL

Due to the stairs the Windmill may not be suitable for the infirm or very small children.

Response from the manager Thank you for your review . I am really pleased you enjoyed your stay . The water in the Windmill is set to constant all day , it has been set at 58 degrees , when six people are using the shower /bath one after the other the water will have to reheat so sometimes when the bath is used the water will not come out as hot as when the first person had used it . I had filled the bath in the week and cleaned all the jets and it was running clear . There is no rule book there is instruction /guidance to help our guest on departure. We follow what other holiday lets/companies expect, that the property is left clean and tidy and all rubbish removed . Our check out time on a Friday and Monday like all other holiday lets / companies is 10.00am , this gives us time to change it around for our next guest . The hot tub as in our T&C is an added extra and sometime its beyond our control if the hot tub becomes faulty or out of use . We tried our best to rectify the problem straight away after we received our guest phone call and had someone attend it and reset it. I have running this business now for many years and we have had no other complaints about towels etc . We leave one extra large bath sheet, and a hand towel for every guest , this is enough for a short weekend break . The washing machine was out of order as we were waiting for the PAT test to make sure it was safe for our guest to use.This is compliant with our insurance . I am really sorry about the bottle of wine this was missed of the table in error , i would have arranged for a bottle to have been delivered if i had known before our guest departing. Again i am pleased you enjoyed your stay and giving me 4 bubbles Sandie
