Description
The Shepherd's Hut, nestled in the beautiful Weald of Sussex is a perfect bolt-hole to escape the bustle of everyday life. Slow down to nature's pace and reconnect with the great outdoors on our working farm.
We have just one hut for one important reason...escapism!
Exclusively yours for the duration of your stay, the 3/4 acre orchard paddock is your own private playground, overlooking woodland and pasture, a place to unwind with only the cows for neighbours, and maybe the odd chicken or two.
The Shepherd's hut has all the mod-cons you could want to ensure your stay in the country is comfortable...en-suite shower room...fully fitted kitchenette, central heating, wi-Fi and a dining hut adjacent with an outdoor log burning stove for that authentic campfire experience under the stars.
We are family and dog friendly. The hut sleeps 2 adults and 2 children. A double bed, a single bed and a high level bunk suitable for children up to 4ft tall due to height restriction.
There is a pull down double bed in the dining hut perfect for teenagers. Please note this is suitable only for the summer months as the dining hut has an open side closed off from the elements by a canvas curtain and is heated by a log burner.
You will be spoilt for choice as there is plenty to do in and around the area for all ages, from motor racing at Goodwood to visiting stately homes, exploring Brighton, the Dinosaur adventure park up the road, or simply enjoying the many walks and good country pubs nearby.

“Wonderful find. Great place to stay”
We stayed for 2nights in this delightful hut. Fully equipped. Comfy & cosy. The extra hut with Log burner, games and the tree hammock were a great addition. Our daughter loved them. Lots to do close by. We visited National Trust places and the Weald & Downland musuem, but close the the Knepp rewilding estate, Amberley musuem and Arundel. Loved it and would return. Owners communication good and provided unexpected welcome pack, a lovely gesture.

We have a lovely stay at the sherherd hut, really nice garden and so clean nice it had games to play in the garden bowls etc we had a nice breakfast pack when we arrived the host was very welcoming can't wait to visit next year
