This semi-detached cottage near the village of Bolton Low Houses sleeps four people in two bedrooms.The Old Bothy is a semi-detached cottage, on a working dairy farm, near the village of Bolton Low Houses and Wigton in Cumbria. This cottage sleeps four people and has two bedrooms, consisting of one king-size double and one twin, as well as a bathroom. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a patio with furniture. The Old Bothy is a great base for exploring the Lake District National Park, the many towns nearby, and even southern Scotland.
Amenities: Eco-friendly electric central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, 3 x TVs with FreeSat, DVD, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Two travel cots, two highchairs and stairgate on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Patio with furniture plus shared, grassed picnic/play area. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 2.5 miles, pub 1.5 miles. Note: As property is on a working farm, children should be supervised at all times. Note: The owner has dogs. Note: There are 3 steps leading up from the patio/parking area to the property.
Region: Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.
Town: The village of Bolton Low Houses offers a good pub serving food. The market town of Wigton and the village of Caldbeck are nearby. The area offers much to see and do and includes the towns of Penrith and Keswick, the cathedral city of Carlisle, Derwentwater and Lake Bassenthwaite.

“Perfect !”
Beautiful cottage for an amazing time. Joanne and Martin are fantastic and so welcoming. The place is very nice for children (animals, toys, playground). Very clean and confortable. Be back soon !
