“Excellent holiday let”
Hollywell Lodge is a well presented and fully fitted holiday let for a quiet, peaceful break in the Derbyshire Dales. The accommodation has everything required to make your break run smoothly. The furnishing are high spec, the kitchen well equipped and there is peaceful outside space to relax and enjoy the views. Robert was helpful but not intrusive, giving you the space to relax. He ensured everything was in place for our arrival. Great for our dog, who particularly enjoyed racing around the paddock. The location great to explore or just to sit and enjoy the views Highly recommended.

“Lovely quiet cottage”
This was a lovely 3 day getaway from our busy working lives. Just the right size for myself, my husband and our 7 year old son. Beautiful views and very comfy beds. Would definitely recommend!

“Great place to stay!”
Really nice cottage, driveway is huge, so no worries about car spaces, the views are really good from the cottage. Beds are really comfy, nice and clean, shower is good and spacious. Only a ten minute drive to matlock bath, but the cottage is fairly high up in the mountains, so have a think if you need taxis. The owners are really friendly, we didn't even know they were there throughout the whole time we were there. If you need any questions about the cottage, Robert the owner will reply really quickly. He will allow you check out at a later time if needed, if no one is staying the next day, we found this very kind and very helpful, so grateful for that. So I would definitely recommend this lovely, peaceful cottage, and it is a really good price to stay there, might be 1 the cheapest places to stay in matlock bath!

“Hollywood Lodge”
Wonderful! The lodge was perfect, fully equipped, and very comfortable, Robert the owner was very welcoming, and helpful. Perfect for families and our dog. Lots of outside area for the children and dog to play. Plenty to do locally, with walks, activities and attractions. The local pub The Malt Shovel serves good food allowing dogs. The owners were super welcoming and friendly. Would recommend this area, and would love to return again. There is Wi-Fi however it was "in and out" a lot, and didn't work in the main bedroom. Over all 5 stars.

Response from the owner Thank you for your review and for finding to time to write it. I apologise about the weak Wi-Fi signal. I noticed that it was not working correctly during your stay. The internet is a fast-fibre (36Mb) connection so this should not happen. I have since replaced the Wi-Fi router and this has fixed the problem.

“Fine for two adults short stay”
This lodge was clean and kitchen area well equipped. Most importantly the mattress was very comfortable and the king size bed a bonus. However, we did find the kitchen/living area to be small. A drop leaf table and fold down chairs were available if you wished to have a meal, and were prepared to move furniture back, but my husband and I managed using the coffee table instead. The shower room area was enough for one adult . We did consider this property to be a good base for walking and days out. It was also very private and quiet.
