Description

Sayers House is a pretty detached cottage on the edge of the village of Wisbech St. Mary, about 3 miles from the market town of Wisbech. It is set in a large pretty garden that leads into a 3 acre field. There is ample secluded parking and a garage.

The village of Wisbech St. Mary has two public houses both that serve food, a General Store / Post Office and fish and chip shop. The market town of Wisbech has many fine buildings with its Georgian Crescent and North Brink, it is here that Peckover House (N.T.) is situated. There are market days (Thursday and Saturday).

The accommodation consists of a fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Pantry with fridge / freezer and washing machine. Large lounge/diner with Freeview smart digital television, dvd player, unlimited Wi - Fi, music system with compact disc player and open fire. Hallway with Toilet and Washbasin. Family bedroom with one single and one double bed and one double bedroom. Bathroom with bath and shower.

All linen, towels etc are provided. The property is open all year and well-behaved pets are welcome.

The property has oil fired central heating. Heating and electricity are included in the tariff. Coal and logs are provided for the open fire.

Wisbech is an ideal base for touring, with many places of interest nearby. Ely, Cambridge, King’s Lynn, the North Norfolk Coast and Sandringham House are all within easy reach, also an ideal area for cycling, walking and fishing.

March is the nearest Railway Station, where you can travel to Norwich, Cambridge, Ely, Peterborough and London. The nearest bus stop to Wisbech is close by and from there you can travel to King's Lynn, Hunstanton, Peterborough, Norwich and Cambridge.

“A great stay”

We needed somewhere to meet up with friends from Derbyshire and Wisbech was equal distance for us. Sayers House was a fabulous find. Comfortable for four and dog friendly. Very large garden enclosed but not quite secure so lead dogs up before letting them out is our advice. Excellent for rest and relaxation but not a lot else in the area.
