Description

Only 3 miles from the outskirts of Worcester in a rural setting just off Stonehall and Kempsey Commons, The Barn is situated on the owners small holding and has been sympathetically converted for self catering. Retaining many features with bedroom ceilings up to the eaves creating as much space and light for ease of living and with under floor heating and subtle lighting guests feel they are definitely on holiday and able to relax. Well equipped and comfortable many guests have returned several times, including young families, couples who love the extra space, locals who are requiring short term lets and workers in the area. We offer short breaks as well as the usual Fri to Fri but can accommodate other changeover days with notice. We have facilities for young children with cot, high chair and stair gates - we charge a little extra for these, - along with a level secure garden (with a few garden toys) over looking a paddock where you may see sheep, horses or geese/hens grazing. You are welcome to bring up to 2 'well behaved' dogs but sorry - we do not allow them upstairs or in the sitting room. We charge a little extra for your dogs. With plenty of circular walks straight from base plus The Malvern Hills, River Severn and other special scenic spots you will be spoilt for choice. There is also a kennel for your use and Patch our Jack Russell would love the company. We have facilities to accommodate horses too. Please enquire for more information. Our location offers the perfect opportunity to take day trips to Stratford upon Avon, Herefordshire, Forest of Dean, the Cotswolds and Birmingham so no one should get bored. “Lovely property and location”

We had a lovely holiday at The Barn. The accommodation was charming and comfortable. We loved watching the lambs. The location was ideal for visiting Cadbury World, WMSP and the towns nearby. Charlotte was warm and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I have a feeling we may visit again.

“Fantastic host ans lovely place”

We went last week and had a fantastic time, really nice host and a lovely barn with garden. The kids loved the little lambs and feeding the chickens and collecting eggs for breakfast. Great location with some good walks. Highly recommend this place, we'll be back with the family over the summer.

Lovely place, great house, very spacious and the host was very helpful. This is great for a quiet weekend away, rather than an adventures break - which was just what my group were after!

“Excellent week away that went to fast.”

Charlotte and her family were on hand to help with anything. Nothing was too much for them. My 2 children enjoyed feeding the lambs and chickens on the small holding with Charlotte. The house is amazing. Everything you could need from comfortable beds, kitchen utensil. And underfloor heating. I will definitely book again as there are loads of things to see and do in that beautiful part of the world.

““Perfect for a family holiday””

We stayed at the barn with our daughter and three grandchildren, aged 14yrs - 2 yrs The barn was well situated for all actives in the area, plus so comfy and homely, we had everything we needed and more besides. Charlotte made us a delicious chocolate cake, and home made apple juice, there was milk, tea and coffee, so welcoming on our arrival. The children loved meeting all the animals. We had a great time, and would love to visit again, Thank you Charlotte.
